Re: How many players will break top 100 for the first time? (Panova made it!)

LAV and Babos are in a good position to move into the top 100 soon.

There are a lot of players around 70-130 playing in Monterrey and Memphis this week which should see quite a lot of players switching around.

Entering top 100: Hampton (probably), Babos if she wins 1r Monterrey

Re-entering top 100: Bratchikova (in 2r Monterrey)

Dropping out of top 100: Marino, maybe Johansson

Not coming back to top 100 yet: Watson, Barrois, probably Cornet, Jovanovski

Moving up: Larcher de Brito

Stalled for now: Robson

Fading from contention: Tsurenko, Vandeweghe, Dominguez Lino, Zhang, Rodina (unlikely to repeat sf Memphis)

It looks to me that there are going to be quite a few players spending a few weeks in the top 100 this year, but it will be far harder to get a place and keep it for the rest of the year. Panova stands a good chance of keeping her place for some months as she has few points to defend before the summer.
