It rings true in respect to what is visible on twitter and the results Shahar and Julia have been having on court.
And it rings true in respect to Israelis in general.
It certainly would explain the "happy talk" tweets by Shahar and Julia shortly after significant losses in their careers. I'm not ready to "throw them under the bus" based on Deniz's interview but there is no denying the lack of intensity and effort in reaction to their results over the last 6 months. Shahar has made a good living playing tennis and you can envision her resting on her past achievements, but Julia is still struggling to make it on the tour and her behavior is more puzzling.
