This episode in particular felt like a bad episode of Melrose Place or some other ridiculous nighttime soap opera.
Dexter being kidnapped/being in an exploding tug boat (and getting dizzy at the ship yard but suddenly being 100% ok physically to untie himself and swim under the explosion), to the "incest" story to LaGuerta using everyone, it's all so trashy and ridiculous. And not in a good way.
