I mean, Miami was the last HC tournament before the clay season started, so we cannot say if it was a total fluke (caused by the very slow courts) or if she has finally found the key.
Many defensive players on the tour have their best results on hard, so why shouldn't she have some decent results, too. Her problems on that surface were her atrocious service, the lack of experience and the fact that she got very often overpowered by her opponents.
It's no coincidence that she decided to work with Urpi who has transformed Pennetta from a claycourter into a HC specialist. I hope she can surprise us!
