Dijana is playing Bol $10K this week, and is the #7 seed.

In R1 and R2 she beat fellow Croats in straight sets: Petra Sunic 64 63 and Karla Popovic 75 64. Those were not convincing results, given that Sunic is ranked in the 1000s and Popovic is just 15 y.o. and unranked.

She caught lightning in the next two rounds, though. In the QF she beat the top seed, Paola Cigui, who is top 500, 64 61. In the SF she crushed the #3 seed, Vivienne Vierin (#583), 63 60.

The challenging opponents don't end there, though. In the final she plays the #2 seed, Martina Gledacheva, who has been in good form and is at her CH ranking of 504.

Good luck, Dijana. Either way, she will reach a new CH ranking of ~640-645. Her performance is particularly encouraging given that this is only the second tournament she has played in over four months. Congratulations!
