I feel for her. Personally, I believe neither the WTA nor ATP really make an effort to help players to avoid unnecessary punishments. They don't look out for them, and if Sveta has not heard of this, they really did not make a good enough effort to make things clear for the players. I've been thinking for a while that the men and women's tours probably need something like a proper support group, maybe a players' union or something else, that helps players with silly technicalities like this.
