Why We Should Watch: This girl doesn't play much, but when she does she's really hard to beat. She is now done with high school, and she said that when she's done with high school that she'll play more tournaments, so she may burst on to the scene shortly.


7. Eleni Kordolaimi, 17, Lamia. NR/NR/NR CHR: NR



Career Prize Money: $1,011
Why We Should Watch: Eleni hasn't played in over a year unfotunately due to a serious injury. In 2008, it looked like she might end the year with a WTA ranking (she'd be in it if she played on more tournament where she got points, because she had enough points, but only played two tournaments. Eleni is very powerful, and at 15 was able to easily serve over 100 mph! She's now training at an academy in Germany where Djokovic trained, and she will be back as soon as she is healthy again.

Why We Should Watch: At once this girl seemed promising. She disappeared for a few years but cam back last Fall for the Greek ITF's. Chances are that she'll come back this year, and maybe she'll surprise us.


9. Eleni Konstantinidou, 16, Thessaloniki. NR/NR/NR CHR: NR



Career Prize Money: $505
Why We Should Watch: Star in the making. Reached the QF's of European U16 Championships last year. Has won multiple ITF Juniors titles and is in the junior top 200.


10. Maria Sakkari, 14, Athens. NR/NR/NR CHR: NR



Why We Should Watch: Is the #1 Greek U16 in the ITF junior rankings by far, and is only 14 years old!
