Re: Fight for Serbian #1

Serbian #1 race is probably over for next atleast 100 days b/c difference is too big for Ana to overtake Jelena in next 5 weeks and than we have november/december 2 months pause. Right now things already not seems good for Ana in whole 1st half of 2009 because she must to defend AO final and IW and RG titles... so right now is much more interesting Jelena Jankovic fight for worlds #1 with Serena (and Safina), but like we seen in past this Serbian#1 race is always very close with some unexpected scenarios.

AMAZING BELGRADE MIRACLE: In just three years (2008-2011) 5 different players born in same city reach world #1 in rankings and several GS titles and finals (WTA singles: Ana Ivanovic and Jelena Jankovic, ATP singles: Novak Djokovic, ATP doubles: Nenad Zimonjic and Daniel Nestor... with notable performances of Bojana Jovanovski, Janko Tipsarevic and Viktor Troicki which is also all three born in Belgrade)
