Jelena finaly reach today worlds#1 (which means Serbian#1 also, of course) and became 18th WTA #1 ever in the history. But because next week will be cut-off points from her Toronto/07 final she must reach Beijing Olympics final to stay at #1 another week. Good news for both Serbians (in terms of rankings) is early Kuznetsova OG lose and after she will lose her New Haven/07 wins and USO/07 finals points, she is not anymore treat, and same thing for other Russian Sharapova which will not compete b/c injury in next two-three months, so only real problem for Ana and JJ TOP2 places is theirs own ijuries and Serena Williams which after Ana withdraws have open draw for Beijing final and dont have many points to defend from 2007 at all.
