Re: Serena: "I usually don't cry in joy, I don't understand it, but it's been so hard

I never was a fan of Serena's when I followed tennis because she always beat Monica, but now a days I simply see her as such a classy, dedicated woman

Re: Davenport's strokes: What beauty!

Yeah you were never a coach, I'm sorry but no coach would belittle great footwork down to nice little steps, at least not one that knows what they are talking about, which makes sense because you...

Re: Davenport's strokes: What beauty!

This is not some weird distinction, this is a big part of the game. I even gave you a link so you could educate yourself on the game a bit. Once again I have to ask, have you ever played tennis at a...

Re: Undisputed #1 Baby!!!!!!

Ok sorry let me clear that one up. She is exceptional with her play on the court, as she proved tonight and in the previous 11 slams she won. Where she isn't great is the type of person she is off...

Re: Davenport's strokes: What beauty!

Have you ever played tennis/know anything about it? Foot work is how you set yourself up for the shot, aka taking little steps, being "in position". Foot speed is obviously how fast you are. Making a...

Re: Undisputed #1 Baby!!!!!!

Well here's the thing, who said she has to be a role model. I mean anyone who has met her in real life knows she is a huge diva bitch but I don't really care about that. All I care about is how...

Re: Undisputed #1 Baby!!!!!!

Navratilova did it in 84 and 85 but that isn't bad company for Serena to be in eh?

Re: Davenport's strokes: What beauty!

Here's one thing that has become apparent to me while reading this thread, and please listen up kiddies. Foot speed and Foot Work are very different things, Lindsay lacked the foot speed but had some...

Re: Undisputed #1 Baby!!!!!!

Are you delusional or something? Do you feel like you did something today to 1. speak for an entire race and 2. put yourself in group with Serena. Lets get real, this is Serena's party and has been...

Re: Davenport's strokes: What beauty!

Now i'll forgive your stupidity since you obviously don't know much about the game but yes, hitting a flat perfect ball with power is what many consider clean.

Re: AO F: [2]Williams/Williams defend their title def. [1]Black/Huber 6-4 6-3

It's sad because the teams that play true doubles don't have a chance against the Williams. Hopefully somone will step up to the plate, I doubt it tho

Re: Kim Clijsters, 'I made the mistakes; she didn't do much.'

Are you fucking kidding me, this thread is almost a chat thread, I think a lot of you losers need to learn how to read the entire transcript and not just take what you want out of it.

Re: Could we actually be heading for the first Justine-Serena GS final?

I'm thinking probably, she's lucky she gets to play Russians instead of a William's sister.

Re: Kim Clijsters, 'I let her beat me. I beat myself.'

yeah 25 might nor be too bad in a normal match but considering the match was only 13 games then yes that was her giving the match away.

Re: Kim Clijsters, 'I let her beat me. I beat myself.'

I do think that Kim cleared it up a bit better near the end blaming herself for not giving her best out there. Still very uncharacteristic from her.
