Re: Has someone on here been editing Lauren Davis wiki page?

I don't put wrong things on Wikipedia, but someone did a classic on Alexandra Stevenson a few years back, stating she's generally considered to have the best serve ever in the women's game, and that...

Re: Which Veteran Could Win A Slam Now

Tauziat, Navratilova, Martinez, Kournikova, Capriati, Kim, Justine, Novotna, even someone like Fusai could win a slam now.

Re: Will Serena pass Court's 92 titles record?

I wouldn't be surprised if she won another slam and the Olympics this year and retired. She didn't look into it in Miami, and if she can't muster the killer fire there, I think the end is near.

Re: 2016 French Open: Expert Picks

Re: Serena's Pursuit of #22 Special on TTC

My favorites:
Her first French, which seemed like her last for so long. There used to be a really good highlight clip of it on Youtube in French.
The come from behinds or the tough ones, the...

Re: The Jewel in Arantxa's crown: The 1994 US Open (youtube high quality footage!)

All the greats won slams they should have lost, and the other way around. A great example of hanging in there paying off. Some of the gals playing today should be watching this match!

Re: SERENA: Still the opponent to beat at French Open?

Re: WWW Met Gala SLAM 2016: Sharapova vs. Wozniacki; Nobody Knows Woz :(

She was taking something that was perfectly legal until 5 months ago. She broke the rules after that and will face whatever she will, but she's no Lance Armstrong. Give me a break.

Re: Sharapova at the Met Gala - highly inappropriate!

She's rich and she's hot. The rules don't apply to her, and they never will. Get over it.

Re: Serena has two big misfortunes

Most tennis enthusiasts on the men's side consider neither Sampras nor Federer as the GOAT, they look at Laver, who did the CYGS twice, once as a amateur, and once as a professional. The other two...

Re: Will Serena ever win another tournament?

I coud see her pulling a Sampras, having a crappy year, winning the US Open and retiring.

Re: Serena Williams Makes Cameo Appearance In Beyoncé Lemonade Video

I don't know why Serena associates with these awful trash people. I really don't.

Re: Serena has two big misfortunes

Vinci, Kerber, and Kuznetsova played her hard and fearless and had been playing well beforehand. Serena is not perfect. Just goes to show how amazing she's been in the past to have won all those...

Re: Biggest meltdowns in tennis history

I forgot how great the Cry Baby was! I remember once in Charleston, she totally flipped out, was all red in the face and crying and jabbing herself in the stomach with her racquet handle, hard! ...

Re: Biggest one-hit-wonders in tennis history

Barbara Schwartz. She came through Qualifiers at the French, maybe 1999, boots Venus in R16 after Venus won Italian Open. She won some rounds at other slams, but ended up with like $500K in prize...

Re: Why don't modern tennis players like to retire anymore?

Usually the young bloods are coming up behind them and humiliating them and they get tired of the thrashings. These days, young bloods make a final or two, a few quarters and they are happy and give...

Re: Navratilova: Serena has to find back her passion

I'm more of the opinion that it took so much mentally for her to get to that US Open, that she may have burned herself out or just used up too many lives to get there. That French Open she won was...

Re: Shriver: Have my doubts if Serena will have a comeback

In the immortal words of Hana Mandlikova, "For someone with such a modest record in singles--she has only made one slam final--she has much to say."

That being said, she's saying what's on a lot...

Re: Cake? What Cake? Worrying Marion Bartoli pictures surface.

This gal ran around sweating outdoors for 15 years of her life, tons of sun damage, etc. A lot of these tennis babes look a little rough around the edges after they retire due to "outdoor" physical...

Re: Cake? What Cake? Worrying Marion Bartoli pictures surface.

What's with all the heavy make-up outdoors during the day? It that a French thing or a Marion thing?
