Re: 2014 Outfits Thread - All White At Wimbledon!

Ivanovic today. I quite like the fit of the dress. Yes, it's plain and yes it's on the safe side but at least it does have a nice fit on her

Re: Wimbledon R1: (11) Ana Ivanovic def. Francesca Schiavone 7-6(6) 6-4

Re: French Open R1: (29) V.Williams def. Bencic 6-4 6-1

First set was a bit of a mess. Second set was much better from Venus! Bencic still has loads of room for improvement and I think that in 1/2 years she'll be around winning titles

Re: Strasbourg R1: Julia Goerges def. (1) Sloane Stephens 6-3 6-2

Re: Rome QF: (11) Ana Ivanovic def. (13) Carla Suárez Navarro 6-4 3-6 6-4

I missed the match all together! Can't wait to actually watch it since everyone is saying that it was a good quality match!

Re: Is Maria the favourite for the French?

I wouldn't call her THE favourite but she is one of the frontrunners. As most people would agree, it depends on how Serena shows up and how Sharapova handles the pressure. She has done it before so I...

Re: Rome R1: Professor Venus Wiliams teaches young Annika Beck 6-3, 6-1

I am so happy that Venus is still enjoying herself on court! Such an inspiration and such a champion! :worship:

Re: Rome R1: Varvara Lepchenko annihilates Peng Shuai 6-1 6-0

Peng is utterly useless nowadays... It's a pity as I love her play style but, gurl, give yourself a break and get your act together

Re: Rome R1: Schiavone shows Bouchard how to play tennis on clay 6:4 6:2

Beautiful display by Francesca! Bouchard had nothing on her and she seems pretty clueless on how to play on clay... She is young and still has time to develop her game properly... Gl next round!

Re: Will Julia Goerges ever return to the Top 50?

I love her! Her technique is flawed, and we all know that, but she is feisty and she is quite likeable as a person.

Re: Rome R1: (11) Ana Ivanovic def. Karin Knapp 6-1 6-1

Already did better than last year! Karin is/was/will continue to be a hot mess. Ana didn't have to do much, really.
Next round Cornet and that should be a tough cookie as Cornet is pretty good on...

Re: Madrid R2: (11) Ana Ivanovic def. Bojana Jovanovski 6-4 6-2 at 12:41 AM

The first set was pretty tight after that it was pretty much one sided... Ana did well to keep herself composed :)

I'm just glad she is healthy. She seems happy to be playing again and enjoying herself and that's what matters!

Re: Post Loss Na Li SLAMS Chinese Officials For Forcing Her To Play Doubles @ OG

I don't really get it why people are lashing out at Li Na for expressing her feelings towards the nomination. She's entitled to her opinion and it has nothing to do with being honored or not. She's...

Re: Is it me or Ivanovic is scary thin?

She has lost weight and that's undeniable. Of course she's not as thin as Hantuchova in 2004, and hopefully it won't be as drastic, but I was rather surprised to see how thin she is.
