Re: USO 2R: Kasatkina def. Konjuh 64 64

Ana was a mess. I think it's her mentality and not fitness (although her fitness is a mess). She just seemed disinterested and almost petulant because things were not going her way. Was watching a...

Re: USO FQR: Tereza Mrdeza Saves 3 MP def. [2] Yaroslava Shvedova 5-7 7-6 7-6

Ummm Mrdeza has never played Cohen at the US Open or anywhere else. You are probably referring to Majeric. Mrdeza does not moonball..

Mrdeza d. Kingsley 61 36 75

This match was a train-wreck. Mrdeza lost all but 2 service games in the last set and all of them at love or 15. Kingsley actually won more points on serve when it was 56 in the third. In all...

Re: Prague R2 Klara Koukalova def (Q) Ana Konjuh 6-4 2-6 6-2

Linz in 1999 had Pitkowski, Testud, Mauresmo and Pierce. Also, there were a few tourneys in the early 2000's with all american semis.

Re: New Delhi 25k R2: Varatchaya Wongteanchai d. (Q)Sharrmadaa Baluu 76(20) 76(4)

I remember Emmanuelle Gagliardi beat Tara Snyder 6-7(19)6-1 6-1 which was a fairly bizarre score, but just shy of being as long as this tiebreak.

Re: Former pro Lilia Osterloh graduates from Stanford & lands coaching job at Harvard

Oh Lilia played that great match at the US open vs. Dementieva in round 4. Dementieva served for the match 3 times in set three and Lilia was so feisty and came back to take it into the third set...

Re: USO Q2R: [21] Ajla Tomljanovic Edged Sachie Ishizu 67 64 60
