Re: Madrid F: Hingis/Chan def. Babos/Hlavackova 6-4 6-3

Not really an unique acomplishment, regarding her as the only player, back in her day Navratilova used to win just about every doubles event that there was in the 80ties, in a way more dominating...

Re: The British press have arrived... and Maria is not at all prepared. Embarrassing.

I agree, its called PRESS after all. BUT Maria has it on her hands, she could very well say she won't be aswering those questions beforehand, and i don't see the need of her of doing so. That is the...

Re: Is 'One time slam champion' the new 'Slamless'?

I don't hate Caroline, honestly, and i am actually enjoining her nice run early this year. Thing is that even today she is not even using her experience to get by in important matches of late.....

Re: Is 'One time slam champion' the new 'Slamless'?

If anyone saw all of them play, most of them would agree that Wozniacki profited and reached world number one because of the ranking system at the time. The girl can't hit a forehand winner or a...

Re: Radwanska: Limited shedule helps Serena

Its not like its rocket science. I know not everybody works the same way, but in most cases long layoffs from competition help a lot, especially on the mental part, i think Serena is going to follow...

Re: Doug Adler is suing ESPN over Venus comment

Even if he meant Guerilla, that is not either a Tennis related word or not a good thing to relate to someone by any means.

Re: Like it or not, CoCo Vandeweghe Will Keep Doing it Her Way

She comes out way too arrogant. Fine she likes to be that way... But i believe that at some point crowd support is a plus to have, and certainly her attitude does not buy her as much.

Re: Margaret Court and the Australian Championship, 1960 to 1966

Serena had the potential back in 2007, when she was at what? 6, 7 slams won? to become the greatest ever, that was why the letter from Chris. Seles is not actualy gonna say that Graf was the best...

Re: Margaret Court and the Australian Championship, 1960 to 1966

That's debatible, Serena's Serve is the best ever no doubt, that is pretty much it, Navratilova volleys better, Graf has arguably a better forehand, backhand debatible pretty much since i think...

Re: Margaret Court and the Australian Championship, 1960 to 1966

The problem had always been that even when Serena had LESS slams than STEFFI a lot of Serena's fans were claiming she was already the GOAT, and then she was way way behind the numbers, and there were...

Re: Margaret Court and the Australian Championship, 1960 to 1966

A Tournament where all top 10, 20 players play does not automatically makes it a grand slam event, period, hence NO Radwanska does not won any slam events by now.

That being said i agree that...

Serena has her tennis skills, and is a great athlete, but most people find more interesting to watch Federer play than Serena, despite not winning as much at the slams, and in the future i am sure...
