Re: Agnieszka Radwanska change her game to Justine Henin

Not a crazy idea for her to do a 'henin'.
She needs to beef up the forehand (heavier ) and force the play. She has alot of touch but imagine if she had power to match. She needs to not care about...

Re: You know you are an obsessed tennis fan when you..

think ur cat is bad luck and make sure its not in the same room when your fave is playing on TV. Case in point... Serena was losing against Vika, kicked the cat out and then she romped through 6-1 to...

Re: Who will make top 10???

Sloane is the only player who holds her own with the big guns and deserves a spot based on her grand slam play. I need to see Halep really take it to one of the real top players (Rena, Vika, Masha,...

Re: USO R3: Forehand GOAT Jankovic def 2nd Serve GOAT Nara 6-4 7-6 (5)

Jankovic wont beat Li standing way behind the baseline receiving 84mph first serves like she did today. Where's the enterprising play we witnessed in cincy! That will take away Li's rhythm, because...

Re: Forehand vs. backhand weapons

Yea Vika's fh is pretty potent. Starting to see some improvements in Sloane's bh and Ana's been hitting it a lot better in recent weeks too.

Re: USO R3: (2) Messarenka d. (26) Cornut 6-7(2) 6-3 6-2!

Oh cornet, ur mix of stylish tennis and psycho court antics are just lovely. Good test for Miss Vika though

Re: How would Azarenka have matched up against Venus?

Vika would have struggled against Venus who is the true definition of an athlete. Her movement, net game and first serve would all rob Vika of the rhythm she thrives on. On slow hard courts Vika...

Re: How far Hingis can go in singles if decides to play in 2014?

girls are really physically strong now and not just at the top end. Martina looks a little small for singles at the moment but that could change if she was playing more. The courts are much slower...

Re: Equal Prize Money For Men and Women: Djokovic Said He does Not Support It

I think women more than deserve equal pay they have more than held their own over the years. You really have to look to the William sisters who helped to usher tennis into the new millennium. They...

Re: Who is greater,Dementieva or Bartoli?

Love me some dementieva, but Bartoli could crush her mentally and winning Wimbledon requires some resounding belief in yourself. Dementieva never had this belief in herself hence why she lost to the...

Re: 2013 Wimbledon Final: Marion Bartoli def. Sabine Lisicki 6-1 6-4

belated congrats to Marion

She played like there was no way anyone else was going to get that title. She's playing much more aggressively than she has been in the past couple of years and her mind...

Re: AO13: So would you say the women's final was more enjoyable than the men's?

For drama yea i guess, but the quality of both were poor. Vika was so more convincing last year, she really went after the title. This year Li Na handed it to her because she wasn't brave enough to...

Re: BOMBSHELL AO QF UPSET of the Tournament:(29) Stephens survives (3)S.Williams 36 7

wow done sloane.

Her athleticism was superb, the way she blocked the serve back and got so many of serena's drives back was impressive. Also changed the pace well with the slice, and was very...

Re: AO R2: Robson def. Kvitova 2-6 6-3 11-9

Oh Petra!. decent fight i guess. Robbo's got a rocket return but I think Sloane will move her slow ass all around the court. :P Good win I guess

Re: Brisbane R2: Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova d. [6] Petra Kvitova 6-4 7-5

nice win for pavs. She is looking much fitter, a key to her making the next step in her career. As for Petra, I still love how she doesn't back off when she is down. Just needs to reign it in a bit,...

Re: When in position, who hit better--Mary Pierce or Lindsay Davenport?

I think Mary had the flashier shots that could leave anyone in the dust. But Lindsay's were more suffocating because they were close to the lines and very hard to control. Watching highlights of...

Re: Does Hsieh deserve her ranking?

in the past you have needed that quality result to break the top 30/25. That's really what she is lacking, no SF or F run to even a premier event or even a couple of top 20 wins. But she has won a...

Re: Ana Ivanovic's Dramatic Weight Loss: Any One Concerned... Yet??

I wish she would return to her normal frame. As you get older you are supposed to fill out a bit more, but it feels like she is trying to fight that. Even Maria is much more broader these days and...

Re: Azarenka and Dementieva: Why does Serena and Sharapova struggle with the opposite

Lena was one of the few players who could match williams athletically. I'm not saying she was better, but she really was a dynamic mover and had great control when off balance. Lena could control...

Re: 100k F: Hsieh wins 5th title, makes top 25 def. Duan 6-2 6-2

Re: Peak Venus would destroy Peak Serenka in straight sets

Yep gotta agree. Venus at her peak had better defense and offence. Could cover the court (up,down, across) with elegant ease and could hit winners from anywhere and suffocate an opponent from the net....
