Re: Djokovic: Men should have more prize money

I agree. All ATP money should go to Swiss tennis players in their 30ths.

Re: Who will be the next new GS winner?

It's easier and simpler: otherwise, instead of one table, you need two tables (and not smaller in any way) and you need to store user_ids redundantly for public polls, or you need two different...

Re: Who will be the next new GS winner?

But you need to keep a persistent list of user_ids for each poll anyway to avoid multiple votes from the same user_id. You could add another table for that, but it's partially redundant and really...

Re: More epic illegal coaching fail?

It was epic.

(1) Muguruza's attack ball looks suspiciously long.
(2) Radwanska doesn't have time for anything fancy, just hits a loopy shot back.
(3) Radwanska's box screams that the ball was...

Re: "Unluckiest" player in slams?

And she was seeded 32th in the 2014 US Open, she couldn't draw a seed there. Which means she is on another streak of 5 right now ...

Re: BOMBSHELL!!!!!!! Kateryna KOZLOVA (UKR) banned for doping!!! 6 months since Dubai

I don't think it's "very easy" for a professional athlete. (Which Kozlova probably isn't.)

DMBA is not used in sprays or medicine. It's actually forbidden to be used as such by all civilised...

Re: Reports on Tennis Rise in China: Seven events all supported by the government

Corruption was always present in every China ever. In fact, it is one of the central themes in Chinese culture (such as tales, plays, novels, essays, even historical porn).

Re: WTA Finals Singapore LIVE Draw Stream!

I totally agree, there should be a shirtless section on the ATP media coverage. *deliberately completely missing the point*

Re: No Chinese player in 2nd round of Wuhan ...

The boxes are now half-full as to less than third-full during the Peng match, but those are just a small fraction of seats anyway. The cheaper upper stands did thin out visibly after the Peng match...

Re: No Chinese player in 2nd round of Wuhan ...

I don't have the time to fully elaborate on that, just a few notes:
The previous match had a bigger crowd than the current Sharapova match. Maybe because of Peng.
I happen to have been to Wuchang...

Re: No Chinese player in 2nd round of Wuhan ...

I didn't realize Australia is considered "Asian".

The two Asians I've been referring to were Diyas and Sharapova.

No Chinese player in 2nd round of Wuhan ...

... and only 2 Asian players, and that's counting Sharapova as Asian.

Good news: This is mostly because the tournament has such a great entry list with almost all of the top players - who happen...

Re: Li Na Retires

Some Li Na's fans here on TF might still remember me as one of her more notorious critics, but truth to be told, I'll definitely miss her, she was the last of a formerly numerous group of (top...

Absolutely nobody. There is barely any Chinese player with glimpses of enough potential to become the next Zheng Jie. And, considering the current state of the Chinese tennis association, it wont...

Re: U.S. Open R4: (17) Makarova def. ill (7) Bouchard 7-6 (7-2) 6-4

That's soo 60s. Being masculine is no longer equivalent with being ugly for a woman nowadays. If I was able to ignore her ugly technique, I'd probably be able to understand why people think she is...

Re: US Open R2: Shuai Winnipeng def. (4) Agnieszka 6-3 6-4

Who is that idiot of an announcer: "biggest win of your career" to a Grand Slam champion and world ranking no. 1?

Re: Is Shuai Zhang the most hated player after Bouchard?

Go to the live comment thread when she plays a relevant player in a televised match.

I personally cannot stand her antics. Being called Serena doesn't mean she has to adapt S. Williams' overboard...

Re: $2.44M WTA Wuhan entry list is out

Well, Beijing is a PM, M for mandatory. Wuchang is not mandatory.

I think it's a slap in the face of tennis and TF wisdom that those so called tennis players, without any dignity and sense for the...

Re: Is this Li Na's final year on tour?

She already won AO, there is no way she is going to continue until 2016 Olympics, there is no reason for her to continue other than obligation towards her sponsors and that Wuhan tournament.
