Re: Men using Serena's dominance as opportunity to slag off women's tennis

Gosh Raonic is ATP version of Keys... hits hard, sure it is espectacular, especially if the ball lands on court...
Fact is Vesnina got the deal BY reaching semis. What she does there does not matter...

Re: Wimbledon SF : Kerber routines Venus 6-4 6-4

At the end of the first set and beginning of second Venus started racking forehand errors... that probable costed her the match or at least the chance to make it tier :(

Serena is sooo wining this...

Re: WWW Wimbledon SF: [4] Kerber vs. [8] Venus?

If Serena reaches the final it will encourage Venus soooo much!!

But I think all her long matches will be too much to beat Angie :o

Re: Wimbledon R3: [12] Suarez Navarro def. Erakovic 6-2 6-2

Well, despite what people may think Carla's numbers at Wimbledon are not that awful, just twice out in the first round...
I would love her to reach, at last, QF once in her life here so she can...

Re: Wimbledon R2: Jana Cepelova EVICTS Muguruza from SW19: 6-3, 6-2

Apparently Garbi has some kind of flu, Spanish press reports she got a cold...
Let's hope she rests for Olympics and USO, tons of points to win before Wuhan

Re: Eastbourne R2: Doi d. CSN 36 64 61.

Clever result for Carla after Birminghan ;)

She's so going to be back to top 10, no points to defend until the last month :D

Congrats Misaki!! Get the best out of this tournament :D

Re: Serena: she gonna win a slam this year or not ?

Well honestly, Garbiñe has been lucky to grab RG because I do think that for the rest of the year, Serena will be too motivated to be easily stopped, I picture her winning Wimbledon and USO.

Re: Nottingham Final: (1/WC) Ka.Pliskova def. Riske 7-6(8) 7-5

K Plis has everything that was usually required to be a Wimbledon champion, nice serve, strokes and good volleys... cannot undersand how she does not do better, maybe this is the year!

Re: Next player most likely to get her maiden slam in Wimbledon?

Wimby has been anouncing new talents to the world since some years... I honestly think this could be Keys' year to introduce herself for general audience :o

Re: WWW RG Final (1) Serena '22' Williams vs (4) Garbine '1' Muguruza

Wow, Serena is always Serena, no matter how she's playing you can never count her out... I wish it was Garbiñe, for the sake of letter Ñ :p
But will be extremely hard...
Vamos Garbi, may you enjoy...

Re: WWW RG R4 (25) Irina-Camelia Begu vs Shelby 'Dark Horse' Rogers

I do not get tired of repeating, Begu, on clay, is real threat to anyone.
She plays greatly on it, so watch out, she could also reach semis! She's consistent and opens the court very well!

Re: RG R2 Match of the Tournament: Begu edges Vandweghe 6-7,7-6,10-8

I saw Begu in Madrid vs. Muguruza and by all means she's top 20 at least and even higher in clay; great angles and strokes from both sides :worship::worship:
I actually had her in 1/4 :p

Re: Biggest one-hit-wonders in tennis history

From Spain I come to think about Goatriz García Vidagany... who beat Kim C. in Marbella but then, after a tennis career full or injuries was never able to keep the level :(
Pity because she had...

Re: Madrid F: [6] Simonita Halep def. Pome 6-2 6-4

Yep, Simona is peaking at the right time, with a bit of luck in the draw I can see her reaching finals again in Paris!

Pity for Dominika, but it is a great result also for her; actually all...

Re: Has there been an audience at any of the Madrid WTA matches?

Re: Stuttgart QF : (2) Kerber def (7) CSN 6-2 6-4

Well this is usually Carla's worst clay tournament of the year, I guess being indoors does not help her at all, points defended, now let's go for Madrid, Rome and Paris and start earning that YEC...
