Re: Bouchard Suing USTA

Just out of curiosity, has anyone ever asked Svitolina about the state of women's locker room on that Friday night? She played against Bouchard/Kyrgios, so she was in the locker room that evening...

Re: Fed Cup WG Play-offs: Dulgheru def. Bouchard 6-4 6-4 (CAN 1-1 ROM)

How else is Eugenie going to learn that she should shake her opponent's hand? Since rational arguments don't get through to her, maybe this will. ;)

Re: Bombshell Slumping Bouchard will play FED CUP! No Handshakes for Begu and Dulgher

She really is incapable of learning from mistakes :help:

Re: ITF nationality rule evoking angst.

Actually, Ajla made it clear that she's never recieved enough support from Craotian tennis federation and she switched nationality because of her tennis career.

"Ever since I was little I was...

Oh yes, as much as I like Liza, she knows how to choke at times.

Re: Hopman Cup: Lucie Safarova def. Eugenie Bouchard 6-0 6-4

So happy for Lucie, she played great! :hearts:
Eugenie needs a coach badly and finding one should have been her priority even over the management contract. It looks like she wasted her off season...

Re: UPDATE 2 : Madison Keys coached by Lindsay Davenport & husband Jon - Fissette out

If I had a high end Range Rover, I'd learn in a high end Range Rover, why not? It looks like Jon has been around tennis his whole life and Madison will be coached by both Jon and Lindsay. I actually...

Re: UPDATE 2 : Madison Keys coached by Lindsay Davenport & husband Jon - Fissette out

^How do you know that Jon Leach didn't buy tennis books? ;) Maybe he is dedicated, too. Every seasoned coach had to start somewhere so why not give Jon a chance?

Re: BREAKING NEWS: Genie signs up with IMG

Nobody expects her to play tennis for free – tournaments offer prize money, aren't they? I think what 'trolls' (as you called them) are pointing out here is that the whole idea of an active...

Re: BANNED WTA Players in Open Era?

I assume this is directed to me ;)
I find the outrage over players getting those cocaine bans quite funny. Maybe the ban on recreational drug use in sports will be lifted someday but the thing is,...

Re: BANNED WTA Players in Open Era?

I don't think anybody classifies cocaine as „doping” or „performance enhancing drug”. It is just a banned substance included in the Prohibited List. A substance doesn't need to give you advantage in...

Re: Serena adores Eugenie Bouchard

I think there was an interview, about a year ago, in French (I think it was in Canadian TV). Maybe that's what Kuzzy24 meant? One of the interviewers said Serena was built like a man or sth like that...

Re: Simona Halep: was she dumb?

If Simona had lost the match on purpose to get rid of Serena, everybody would have criticized her for cheating/gamesmanship/whatever. She didn't tank to eliminate Serena and now gets called dumb....

Re: Billie Jean King says that the WTA tour needs more women coaches.

In the end, I think it all comes down to this.
There are so few good female coaches available because once a female player retires, she's probably just sick and tired of all the travelling and wants...

Re: Seoul R1 Kaia Kanepi def. Elizaveta Kulichkova 6-2 6-4

I didn't expect Liza to win this, Kaia is too tough opponent for her. On the brighter side, she managed to qualify for 3 of 4 WTA tournaments she enetered this season. I'd still call it...

Re: Not the best look for Azarenka to do sponsored tweets for Mayweather

I don't use twitter, didn't know that. My mistake. It's quite unfortunate, then. But still, she didn't tweet that Mayweather&Rice are good boys and anyone can lose control and hit fiancée.

Re: Not the best look for Azarenka to do sponsored tweets for Mayweather

So watching/intending to watch a fight of a boxer who supported a fotballer who had knocked out his fiancee puts you in a bad light and suggests that you approve domestic violence? If we follow this...
