Re: Arantxa Rus enters RG MD, b. (8)Katie O'Brien 64 76(6)

Lol, true, my comment was more a jibe at the mental midget that is Katie, than anything against Arantxa.

Aren't the top four losers from the final round put into draw now. Which means Katie...

Re: Arantxa Rus enters MD, b. (8)Katie O'Brien 64 76(6)

Not quite so impressive when you realize that the comeback was against Katie though. I would estimate that Katie has lost a set from a double break up at least 20-30 times in her career.

Re: Warsaw QF:A.Keothavong(GBR)def. I.R.Olaru(ROU) 6-0,6-1

Man that was great to watch. Olaru wasn't great but Anne's groundstrokes were just

Re: RGQ1: Katie O'Brien def Karla Mraz 6-1 6-7(5) 6-2

What's up with Katie, she must have one of the highest percentages of sets lost from 4-0, 5-0 and 5-1 sorts of positions. If she could just sort out her mental problems she would easily be a top 100...

Re: Warsar 2R Anne Keothavong d Jill Craybas 3-6 6-3 6-1

Very good come-back and result form Anne, against a player she has previously struggled against. Looks like she finally worked out how to play Craybas, although it looked like she was helped somewhat...

Re: Memphis QF: [4] Anne Keothavong def. [5] Marina Erakovic 62 16 62

You're right, no good wins on clay, although she did win all her matches in the round robin stages of Euro/Africa Zone 1 in last years Fed Cup, and that was played on clay.

Re: Aussie Open Roof: How hot is too hot?

The situation with the Juniors is awful, and it is not getting any better. Take tomorrows scheduled matches, the juniors are being forced to play on the Margerat Court Arena and show courts 2 and 3...

Re: Berlin Friendly: Martina Hingis def Anke Huber 6:3, 6:4

Thanks to you and you friend FrOzon for the pics. Both look good (especially Martina).

I still dream of a comeback for Martina, but I think it very unlikely. I'm just glad her first comeback at...

Re: AO R1: Anna Chakvetadze [17] def. Anne Keothavong 6-1 6-7(5) 6-1

Keothavong should have served first in the final set, but Chakvetadze came out and served first instead. Nobody noticed the mistake (including the umpire) until the end of the game, by which time it...

Re: AO Q2: Kathrin Woerle GER def. Georgie Stoop GBR 6:3 5:7 14:12, saving 2 MPs

Hmm, Georgie had 5-3 in the final set and also had 2 MP's on Kathrin's serve in later games. The fact that she couldn't close it out doesn't bode too well for her. She also had 5-1 in the 2nd set and...

Re: Auckland QF: A.Keothavong def. [Q] A.Morita 6-0 RET.

I dount that was the way Anne would have wanted to go through, but still SF is a great result for her. Going to be a lot tougher in the next round though against (probably) Wozniaki.

(Strange,...

Re: Robson to play her first WTA event!

Urgh, this does not sound good and it has a truish sound to it, (although I imagine its probably been exaggerated a little bit). Big sponsoring companies getting involved very early with a young...

Re: which of today's qf pairs would be most fun in the shower?

That was agreat ad! I bet the cameraman enjoyed his job that day.

As to the original question, I gotta say Flavia and Jelena, closely followed by Bepa and Dominica.

Re: Anybody noticed Daria Sharapova has started her career?

Well I don't think Maria was all that tall at 13, didn't she suddenly shoot up a few years later? Maybe Daria will do the same.

Hmm, if she wins Wimbledon next year, and it rains on Womens Finals day, will that count as a indoor grass court win?

Re: BOMBSHELL!!!!Shrewsbury Round 2 Laura Robson THRASH Urzula Radwanska 6-3 6-3!!!!!

Yeah, but with the tournament restrictions rules that just isn't possible any more. Nobody since Hingis has reached the top 100 before their 15th birthday.

Re: Bombshell! Shrewsbury 2RD: Tzipi Obziler beats Julie "USOpen sensation" Coin 6-3

Lol, 21 year age gap, that has gotta be close to a record, at least in recent times.

Re: Article: WTA Players to Attend Mandatory Off-season Charm and Beauty School

They just cut back to Anabel Croft after they finished showing the Federer vs Nadal Final from last year. No mention of their mistake though.

Re: Larry Scott wants players to attend a "Charm & Beauty" School
