Re: Youngest Junior Slam Winners?

Well, if she wins a match I'd considered that big at this point. ;) Honestly though, I'm actually really looking forward to next year for her. The rest of the year is just about getting back to being...

Re: Youngest Junior Slam Winners?

Laura Robson winning Wimbledon in 2008 at 14. Her career hasn't quite gone according to plan though.

Re: Ranking the Peak Levels of Sharapova, Azarenka and Kvitova

And that's still often enough to be considered her "peak".

Re: Fed Cup Group III: Wozniacki (DEN) def. Ibbou (ALG) 6-2 6-1

Too many posters are preoccupied with a player's ranking and not other factors, like the fact that Ibbou is only 16 and has shown some promise.

Re: Miami R1: (wc)CiCi Bellis (USA) d. (wc)Indy de Vroome (NED) 62 62

I really like Diyas, but I would like to see CiCi play Serena, so I don't mind what happens in the next round.

Re: Best face on tour?

I may not be a fan of her personality much, but I think Sloane Stephens is worth a mention.

Re: Doha Q2: SaiSai Zheng def. (3) Heather Watson 6-3 6-3

She played Madison Brengle in the final. That's how.

Re: Players who showed tons of promise very young (13-16) but never materialized

I remember following her results in U14 and thinking that she must be a unique talent. I don't even know much about her game, but I still find it sad that she called it quits so young.

Re: Australian Open Junior Girls' F: Mihalikova def. (14) Swan 6-1 6-4

There's been almost no hype surrounding Katie.

Re: AO Juniors R1: 14yo Destanee Aiava into the second round

I think juniors matter a little bit. Of course there are good juniors who struggle with the transition to the pro tour, but I think, if anything, a successful junior has a habit of winning, which can...

Re: The Australian Open Should Be the China Open

I don't quite understand this statement. So, the fact that Casey Dellacqua (an Australian player) is in the top thirty is a joke for Australian women's tennis? Um, wouldn't that be good for...

Re: Tomas Berdych is throwing shade on WTA Finals

I must admit, there are few (if any) better sights in tennis than Stan in top form. :hearts:

Re: Most underrated players

Not really. Underrated would imply a player who's capable of playing better tennis than they're given credit for. An underranked player would be a player who is playing better than their ranking...

Re: Do you feel happy when a player you don't like loses?

There are players I dislike more, but when Andy Murray or Maria Sharapova lose, I do like to gloat to my dad. He thinks the sun shines out of Sharapova's ass, and he blindly supports Murray because...

Re: Who is most loyal?

I do tend to support players from Great Britain, but if there are other aspects of their personality or game that I don't like, then I'll stop supporting them. Fortunately, our two best players,...

Re: ITF Nantes: Siniakova d Jabeur 7-5 6-2

Why do people come into result threads just to let everyone know they don't know the players involved? What are you trying to prove?
