Re: Amendment to the Tennis Anti-Doping Programme

Sharapova is the Ben Johnson of tennis. Made an example of, while Karl Lewis and dozens of other athletes not exposed were as well pissing green urine.
I guess it's too much of a problem to expose...

US Open QR1 - Francoise Abanda def. Soler-Espinosa 4-6 6-4 6-3

I was hoping she would control her nerves and overpower the opponent. I guess she did. Soler-Espinosa is pretty much weaponless, she has variety and nice slices if I recall well, but other than that...

Re: New US OPEN website! Thoughts?

I hate their Live Scores page. it's much better at Tennis24 since it's more condensed and less confusing. You also have the point by point for all sets to see how it went and all previous results of...

Re: Landisville 25K FINAL: PEAK Laura Robson utterly obliterates WC Julia Elbaba 6-0

She's some girl passing by on the street. The organisers asked her if she wanted to try tennis.

Re: Olympics R1: Genie Bouchard def. Sloane Stephens 6-3 6-3

Well done Genie. Focused and motivated like 3 times more than Sleuwn, who is back on the plane already.
Do your best against Kerber.

Re: Montreal R2:RISING-STAR Eugenia Bouchard DIVORCES Pomenika Cibulkova 6-2 6-0

Actually, the match was very close. Never mind the bagel. It's just that Genie was so focused, she was never gonna let Domi break her (0 in7) or grab the important points, something we often saw...

Re: Montreal R2:RISING-STAR Eugenia Bouchard DIVORCES Pomenika Cibulkova 6-2 6-0

She was in da ZONE  Focused like a Slam winner on a Slam Final :worship:
Her serve has never been that hard and accurate. If it can stay like that consistently, she would be a regular Top10.

Re: SAISAI (G.O.A.T) Zheng lashes out at Coupe Rogers stringing service

Exactly.
Anyhow, the tension on the strings will always be getting less and less as a match goes on. As soon a you get the strings exposed to the sun, the heat will stretch it a bit. As you hit...

Re: XMontreal R1 Abanda schools SAISAI Zheng 6-1 7-5

When I wrote my previous post I had not found out about the stringing mistake.

I suppose an experienced player should be able to adjust her stroke to the racquet tension after a few missed shots....

Re: SAISAI (G.O.A.T) Zheng lashes out at Coupe Rogers stringing service

I suppose an experienced player should be able to adjust her stroke to the racquet tension after a few missed shots.
All her missed drop shots were short into the net. A lower tension would make the...

Re: XMontreal R1 Abanda schools SAISAI Zheng 6-1 7-5

What!?!
There are WTA officials at all tournaments to supervise every decision from the organizers.
If you're looking for excuses, just say she was tired from Stanford and the...

Re: XMontreal R1 Abanda schools SAISAI Zheng 6-1 7-5

Played a super match. :surprise:
Zheng was not by any means able to handle Frankie's power. Thankfully her numerous winners fell in today. It must be falling out the rest of the year though given...

Re: Montreal QR1 Andreescu d. Craword 7-6(3) 7-5

After her title at the Orange Bowl, she had a stress fracture to a foot that forced her to be out for six months (cast and crutches). But other than that she didn't suffer more injuries than the...
