Re: FC WGII: Stosur def. Slovakia 3-2

I agree, I think that the Slovakian captain took a far too negative attitude to this tie. Which is a shame for the team, because I think all the Slovakian girls played with a lot of spirit. Obviously...

Re: Fed Cup WG II: Sam Stosur def. Anna Karolína Schmiedlová 7-6(5) 7-5 (AUS 2-1 SVK)

Good job Sam:cheer:

A bit patchy at times, but that was probably partly due to the weird bounce on this court, which gave both of them problems I think.

Tough for Anna-Karolina to come back...

Re: Fed Cup WG II: Sam Stosur d. Jana Cepelova 63 64 (AUS-SVK 1-1)

Very businesslike performance from Sam. Could have been a tricky match because Jana played pretty well, and she has a pretty good record against Sam, but Sam was dominant in closing out both sets....

Re: FC 2016 WG II - 1R: Schmiedlova def.Rodionova 57 75 60

Anna-Karolina was pretty bad, but huge credit to Arina, she played great for the first set and a half, very attacking, creative and entertaining tennis. Unfortunately she ran out of gas and A-K found...

Re: WTA Website "criticizing" players <3

They are not really criticizing players as far as I can see. "Chicken Little" refers to the old fairy story where something falls on a chicken's head and he thinks that the world is coming to an end....

Re: AO R4 (Q) Shuai Zhang def. one-legged (15) Madison Keys 3-6 6-3 6-3

Very sad way for Maddy to exit the tournament, but I'm delighted for Shuai. I didn't see a lot wrong with her behavior tbh, considering the obvious importance of the match for her. From where I was...
