Re: Has there been an audience at any of the Madrid WTA matches?

Maybe Muguruza's success will generate some interest although Kerber's first Grand Slam win hasn't helped the flagging interest in Germany unfortunately.

Re: Julia Görges: "The quality in WTA has dramatically risen between 2011 and 2015 !"

Utter rubbish, supposedly top players like halep and Kvitova fall apart with no reason against poor opposition, stagnating players like Wozniacki and Radwanska are in the top ten, only Serena plays...

Re: Wich player is the best defensively ever?

Kerber isn't mentioned enough in this thread, she is an outstanding defender, if not the best ever.

Re: Halep vs Azarenka ? What would this be like ?

Re: Most memorable matches are - highest quality or most important?

This year's best match was in my opinion Kerber-Wozniacki final in Stuttgart. Great match with both players coming up with lovely shots.

Re: How Many Slams Will Canadian Beauty Eugenie Bouchard Win Her Career?

One or two, definitely not more. I know she is only young but amongst the juniors some very talented players are coming up who will dominate her. (Vekic, Katie Swan, Claire Liu)

I think the only thing that makes Azarenka better is her speed around the court, her footwork. But even that department Maria has been improving constantly. In every other department Maria's shots...

Re: WWW- Wimbledon R1: [4] SHARAPOVA vs [WC] KONTA

Re: Wich player is the best defensively ever?

Sanchez Vicario was outstandingbut in today's game there are so many more better defenders, Halep, Krunic, wozniacki just to name a few. Suarez Navarro can run down many balls as well.
