Re: Midland QF: Stockport's Finest Broady def No1 seed Brengle 6-4, 6(7)7,63

I'm not saying she tanked. But she just didnt seem to care. There's a difference. I've watched enough Madison matches the last few years to see the difference today in her play style (coming into net...

Re: Midland QF: Stockport's Finest Broady def No1 seeded Bagel 6-4, 6(7)7,63

Did you watch it? Madison showed literally no emotion on court. She was just going through the motions.

Re: Midland QF: Stockport's Finest Broady def No1 seeded Bagel 6-4, 6(7)7,63

LOL - Madison did not give two shits about this match or tourney.

Broady was serve botting but anything with a rally she couldn't do much. Her movement is horrendous. Her backhand is ugly as hell...

Re: Live Commentary Thread vol 93

She probably just needs to catch her breath. Same as the bathroom break after second set.

I hate that this is allowed.

Aga in straights. She just played this girl two weeks ago and won handily.

Re: AO R3 (21) Ekaterina Makarova def (9) Karolina Pliskova 6-3 6-2

I love it. Exposed over and over again at the slams.

Makarova really loves playing down under. Could be another SF for her here playing like that.

Re: AO 3rd round: Gasparyan routines Putintseva 64 64

Thank you Margarita. I am LOVING her game. That backhand :hearts:

Putinseva is the most vile player on tour at the moment. Her arguing with the umpire in the second set was ridiculously childish....

Re: AO 3R: (4) A. Radwańska def. Puig 6-4, 6-0

Aga started slow but once she got broken for 3-4 she woke up and took it to another gear. Monica didn't really look the same after missing an easy put away. Glad she did it easily since the shin is...

Re: AO R2 Madison Brengle def Johanna Larsson 7-5 4-6 6-1

Madison really upped her game in that third set. Counter punching like a boss and smacking winners from time to time. Her point construction is top notch and gives these girls fits who can't rally. ...

Re: AO R2: (Q) Naomi Osaka upsets (18) Elina Svitolina 6-4 6-4

It was clear in qualifying that she could go on a run here with a good draw. Immense talent.

Serena should be untroubled until the QF. And even then if it's Maria, SF.

Re: AO R2: Bondarenko SHOCKS (23) Kuznetsova 61 75

Amazing quality tennis in that second set. Sveta looked very fatigued though. Probably from all her tennis last week.

Very entertaining match. Congrats Katya.

Re: Aus Open R1: [23] Goatlana 'I'm back' Kuznetsova def. Hantuchova 6-0 6-2

Sveta is playing impeccable tennis. Dare I say she may be the favorite for the title playing like this. It's incredible stuff. So clean. No errors.

It's sad to see Daniela a shadow of her former...

Re: Australian Open 1R: (4) A. Radwańska def. McHale 6-2, 6-3

I didn't think it was that bad. Aga was clearly in "just do enough to win" mode. Probably smart given the conditions. She was serving much better in China so hopefully she finds that serve next round.
