Re: Wuhan R1: Wozniacki def Stosur 63 62

Stosur looked hopeless out there. :tears: Hopefully she can find a good new coach and salvage the rest of her career.

Re: Sam Smith:"Wozniaki is the most mentally tough player since seles"

Right, but it's not like Kerber was unbeatable this summer.. It was a winnable match.

Re: Sam Smith:"Wozniaki is the most mentally tough player since seles"

Wozniacki is lucky the draws collapsed and she was able to face two unseeded players in the SFs to make her Major Finals.

She is just not good under pressure. She had a golden opportunity to win...

Re: WWW Tokyo Dream F: Osaka or Wozniacki

Whether or not she wins this match, Naomi is the future. I'm not sure if she has the personality to be a bona-fide star. But it's OK; her tennis can do the talking.

Re: Wally's Song History Thread | What wasted unconditional love

The theme for Game 134 as Eighties v.2 chosen by Adey. Eventually I was torn between two songs--"Hazy Shade of Winter" by the Bangles and "You Keep Me Hangin' On" by Kim Wilde. As much as I...

Re: Tokyo SF: Naomi Osaka df E. Svitolina 16 63 62

I love that Svitolina keeps having these wins that look good (on paper) only to get knocked out in the next round. :hearts:

That handshake was horrible and she should be shamed for it.

Re: WWW Tokyo Dream F: Osaka or Wozniacki

Any match featuring Wozniacki is not a dream, unless it's a nightmare. :sobbing:

I can't believe she is already 26. Time sure does fly. :bolt:

Re: Tokyo SF: Naomi Osaka df E. Svitolina 16 63 62

Yep, looks like she's pulling a Mary Pierce. Hopefully Naomi will learn fluent Japanese if she continues to play for Japan the way Mary did with French.
