Re: Easiest route for an unseeded player to reach a GS QF ever?

Poor me. but, devil"s advocate. Take a look at Serena's slams. It's an interesting perusal.

Re: USO R4: Vinci def Bouchard w/o

A wise decision. Concussions are certainly not something to mess with (e.g., Long term effects etc). A terrible situation all around. Kudos to the USTA for putting the match last on a busy, filled...

Re: USO R3: [25] Bouchard def. Cibulkova 7-6 4-6 6-3

ALso, playing doubles with a veteran like Vesnina and having a few laughs on court may be a good thing as well? What do you guys think?

Re: USO R3: [25] Bouchard def. Cibulkova 7-6 4-6 6-3

Entertaining match. As much as some of you may hate Genie, it certainly is a positive thing for the WTA to have a player who draws interest in the sport. Maria and Serena are only around for so long.

Re: What's more important: Looking good or Playing good?

Check Forbes and Bloomberg. No wonder someone is so angry.

Re: Will Pova turn the tide and beat LABORZ in 2015?

I've never seen a player not evolve before like Wozniacki. I'm not sure if she's hungry for more. Quite frankly, she may be full playing 4th fiddle? She's just not fun - Even more so when they try to...

Re: Who was more impressive during their primes? Serena or Justine?

Let;s call it a win for Serena. JH got caught for juicing. The mainstream media are prepping the stories on SW.

Re: Safina or Venus: Who's your pick on clay?

Safina without a doubt. Venus should have won in 2002 and quite frankly, the other times she just got beat -> Bad. Such an interesting player. Outside of 6 weeks of WB 2005, 07 and, 08, she's been...

Re: Cinci Final: Serena trounces Ivanovic 6-4 6-1 - wins 1st title!

Unfortunately for us fans, a poor match. Serena: pick it up going into the USO. Not your most convincing premier. Ana - The sports psychologist is on hold. Please pick up.

Re: Stanford QF: (8)Petkovic def Venus 61 36 75

Wow. A terrible match for both.

Venus - Off to Montreal - Historically a very, very poor place for her. Interesting times.

Re: Stanford R2: Veesus Williams d. Victoria Azarenka 6-4 7-6(1)

I don't think there's any consolation to not winning titles when you're 33, unfortunately.

Good win for Vee.Perhaps an all W semi?
