Re: Nanchang QF: (1) Jelena Jankovic takes (5) BFCD YY-DUAN to bakery 7-6 6-0

I mean it's not that far off the opponents she beat to win bogota and that boosted her confidence all the way to making the YEC so, I kinda think she's made a smart decision here.

Re: Wimbledon SF: [1] Serena Williams def. [4] Maria Sharapova 6-2 6-4

I agree with a fair bit of this except the better opportunity to beat Serena, the surface alone makes it much harder. The slower HCs or clay probably is her best bet.

Re: Eastbourne R3 Bencic d. Bouchard 6-4 3-0 ret

I do think there may have been an actual injury here, Bouchard uses so much of her core in her strokes and particularly her backhand, and it really did lose a lot of the timing towards the end...

Re: Birmingham R1 Victoria Azarenka struggle past Varvara Lepchenko 7-6(7) 6-4

I think Woz genuinely has a better chance, even though she can only really threaten at USO, purely because she's at least committed and shape.

Vila won't be winning anything until she can play 7...

Re: ROME QF: Maria Sharapova def. Victoria Azarenka 6-3 6-2

:tears: the sad thing is it's true. Vika just didn't perform anywhere near where she should, but I'm not surprised given her questionable commitment to her conditioning.

People getting mad at...

Re: BOMBSHELL Madrid R1 Alize Cornet SHOCKS REAL #2 Simona Halep 7-6(6) 6-3

Yeah, extend cornet to her FH, wait for the floater and drive volley the ball away. She only did it like 10% of the time after that.

It interested me too, actually. I know Cirstea responded well...

Re: BOMBSHELL Madrid R1 Alize Cornet SHOCKS REAL #2 Simona Halep 7-6(6) 6-3

Cornet :worship: her defence out there was outstanding. It definitely got to a Halep.

As for Halep well, if you don't listen to Darren Cahill's tactical advice (which would have worked) why even...

She went away to the Adidas camp in Las Vegas after her loss in IW (I think it was before Miami but I may be wrong), trained hard, fired her coach and replaced him with her old one. For her it's...

Re: Why do we always hear "I want to be #1" instead of "I want to win Majors..."

Career weeks at #1.
Maria Sharapova = 21
Venus Williams = 11

Re: Miami R3: (27) Sabine Lisicki def Former Tennis Player (5) Ana Ivanovic 7-6(5) 7-

Re: What's the best/most memorable pro match you've been to live?

2008 Hopman Cup
Serena Williams d Lucie Safarova 6-0 2-6 7-5

HILARIOUS match. Also wasn't too bad in patches I guess.

Re: ♥ Queen Caroline Wozniacki is a champion for 8th consecutive year ♥

RIGHT? That tournament was so lacking quality players.

Only had the #1 #3 #5 and #9 from the top 10, one of whom was the reining French Open (you know the slam played on clay) champion... #k
