Muguruza, Azarenka & Kvitova are the biggest talents in the post-Serena-era.
Similar potential but these days I really believe that Muguruza is most likely the new # 1!

Anna Schmiedlova hasn't been top ten but at least close to the top 20 but...

Not sure. Serena looked like she could barely move. But remember her Bacsinsky-match at Roland Garros and she was still able to win 2 majors within a month >:)

Steffi lost only 2 sets all year! (Grand slam level)
Vs Navratilova in the Wimbledon final and vs Sabatini in the US-Open final. Both matches not that close as most of Serena's three-setters.

I felt so sorry for Serena after her US-Open loss. So close to the Grand-Slam and she struggled with her nerves.
But looking back at her season, you gotta admit that she was lucky to get that far....
