Re: Does anyone else believe Venus is the better player?

Serena better for sure.

Yes Venus's rally ball is typically flatter and a bit harder, but Serena can def still outhit her if she's playing at her most aggressive. Her returns are better, she pulls...

Re: Best forehand amongst non-retired top players as of right now

Serena's is the best.

I disagree that she struggles against hard hitting FH players, I think when she's really playing well she can outhit anybody with devastating placement and angle/spin...

Serena tweeted 6 hours ago: "Closet cleaning day 2 of 4... Yikes! No space!!!"

It doesn't sound like she's on a plane to me....She's not playing.

Obviously not in titles and achievements, but Serena IS the greatest player to have played the game, level wise.

Re: Wimbledon QF: T. Pironkova def. (2) V. Williams 6-2 6-3

Error mania from Venus.

She had so many chances, had she not missed EASY shots she could have won the match in 2 easy sets!!!!
This loss is gonna hurt. Pironkova is a good player but she got...

Re: According to the Tennis Channel Wimbledon Preview...

Despite her comment, I don't think Serena does not like grass. In fact I believe in years past she's said she loves grass many times at wimbledon.

I think it was just another understatement from...

Re: RG R1: Williams/Williams [1] def. Flipkens/Tanasugarn 6-0 6-1

Actually I thought Serena's level was very high. She hit the ball a ton and was aggressive with her movement and shotmaking, she hit some awesome shots. Venus was superb.

Venus even tweeted after...

Re: Madrid Final: cARAVANE runs over Queen Vee 62 75!

Venus did want it, we cannot say otherwise. She really tried.

But damn me, she got to 5-2 by murdering the Rezai 2nd serve and when she got em on set points she rolled them short to the middle...

Re: Madrid Final: cARAVANE runs over Queen Vee 62 75!

Venus never went for a shot on set point, that was the difference. Would have loved to have seen a 3rd set.

Re: Madrid Final: cARAVANE runs over Queen Vee 62 75!

Congrats to Rezai on her fearless tennis.

Venus.....6 set points wasted, could not find 1st serves when she needed them, far from her best.
