Re: Marina Erakovic's EP 'The Mad Era'

Taste is either liking or disliking a singers particular tone, which is individual to them and can't be changed. That's entirely seperate from whether someone is a good singer technically. She...

Re: Marina Erakovic's EP 'The Mad Era'

Her singing voice isn't terrible, it's just weak as you'd expect from someone who doesn't really sing much. Practice girl, the voice takes time to learn and improve, the same as any instrument.

Re: Pam Shriver " Nastase repeatedly asked if i was a virgin"

Yes, speaking of reading comprehension, you've provided yet another example of your lack of it. Repeating the same questions that have already been explained is proof you have no grasp on...

Re: Pam Shriver " Nastase repeatedly asked if i was a virgin"

There's nothing wrong with my intelligence or education level, your reading comprehension level is quite another matter.

1. It's impolite and inconsiderate for anyone to ask even once. If it's an...

Re: Pam Shriver " Nastase repeatedly asked if i was a virgin"

Things might be different in your world, but the state of a young girls hymen isn't considered a polite thing to ask. It can be confronting and embarrassing for a young person, as well as suggestive...

Re: Pam Shriver " Nastase asked me if i was a virgin"

Accusations that can't be adequately proven aren't necessarily false, so not guilty doesn't mean nothing happened, only that there was insufficient evidence to convict.

Re: Manchester, UK in contention to host WTA Finals from 2019

No doubt it'll prove to be a great boost to the local economy, with Manchester being possibly the theft capital of England.

Re: This year 8 AO QuarterFinalists are ALL AGGRESSIVE PLAYER

Not really, but personalities, player interviews and behaviour seem to trump actual tennis performances anyway.

Re: Live Commentary Thread vol 105

If being born in Australia is your criteria, then Konta and Robson should be Australian. Yet people move and get to choose a new nationality which is recognised Worldwide, except by some on Tennis...

Re: Live Commentary Thread vol 105

What is an actual Aussie? Someone who holds Australian citizenship. Australians are all from somewhere else.

Re: Is Radwanska's latest tweener one of the best ever?

Maybe something got lost in translation, and nice and respectful sounded a little like old and slow.

Re: Bouchard laments the ugly side of beauty

I used a dictionary to prove you wrong. Any dictionary would do the same. Now you're not only wrong, but you're denying, deflecting and just being pathetic.

Re: Bouchard laments the ugly side of beauty

Go argue with some dictionaries. They contain agreed definitions from scholars of language, not the self-serving, twisted interpretations of internet forum posters with bitter agendas.

Re: First Hopman Cup 2017 Team! Belinda Bencic & Roger Federer (SUI)

A competition continues to exist because it makes money. Competition event organisers keep their jobs if it makes money. That's a very simple notion too. Even events that are funded by...

Re: First Hopman Cup 2017 Team! Belinda Bencic & Roger Federer (SUI)

Considering the big crowds they drew, and Leyton farewelling his Perth fans, I'm sure the organisers will take all that legitimate money in the bank over your hand-wringing.

Re: First Hopman Cup 2017 Team! Belinda Bencic & Roger Federer (SUI)

So putting Leyton Hewett into a warm-up event in Australia before his retirement slam is illegitimate? Pairing him with Jarka is hardly loading the draw, it's just a farewell opportunity for fans...

Notice that I placed "slowing down" in quotation marks. Meaning, she has not really...

Re: When will Serena retire?

"Is she eventually going to start slowing down? Of course she is; this is simple biology." This was your post, to which someone responded by stating "she's already slowing down". You then came back...
