Re: who's Maria Sharapova's biggest rival?

The WTA Is in such Disarray that it doesn't seem like Sharapova Meets the same competitors enough.
So I think she has yet to meet her real rival yet. Maybe someone will emerge.

Re: Which Of Her Active Rivals Does Serena Most Enjoy Wigsnatching ???

Serena really Dominates the Field in those Stats. Pretty Amazing.
Although I gotta say this really shows that JJ really deserves at least one slam.
Anyone whom can hold her own against Serena...

Re: Why does Mirza keeps getting WCs?

At some point, Mirza really had a lot of potential (Basically the first few years she played) , but strangely enough she played the best in her first few grandslam tournaments and then DECLINED!

Re: Doha R3: Christina McHale def. Shahar Peer 4:6, 6:3, 6:4

At least with XTINA in singles and Vania in Doubles, there is some noise for American Women when venus and Serena retire (? Hopefully in 10 + years)

Re: Venus has won her final singles slam already

To be perfectly fair, A lot of the players are a shadow of their former selves.
When Venus was at the top of her game which has ben nearly a decade ago now, she was I thought the best player of all...

If Serena wins the US OPEN.
this would be a major victory for the US women!

Re: Which player is more of a marketing nightmare: Zvonareva, Kuznetsova or Schiavone

vera has to be one of the most under the radar players of all time.
She reached two grandslam finals, and has acheived more than so many other players like
Azarenka, Stosur, Vaidosova, Hantuchova,...

Re: USO 3R: C.Wozniacki def V.King 62 64

Guess back to doubles for Vania King.
I didn't even know she won 2 grandslam doubles.
Seems like she has become a dioubles specialist.

She was pretty good out there today all things...

Re: Dallas First Round: [5]Sabine Lisicki defeats Sania Mirza, 6-3 6-0.

Unfortunately Sania had so much potential, but now she is reduced to losing pretty much all the time.
Hate to say it , but I don't think she'll make any sort of a comeback.

Re: Beating Serena right now should not be this difficult...

She hasn't played for forever, She has a Pulmonary embolism , She injured her foot and she hasn't had a lot of match play and she STILL wins against everyone.
Serena, my hat is off to you. So much...

Re: Would you rather finish your career with 1 Olympic Gold or 1 GS?

It depends on what country I'm from.

If I'm from Russia, China, or say Japan, Olympic Gold for sure.
Especially in China. you would probably never have to win anything every again, get...

Re: ROTFL: Oudin, now No. 100, feels she's been unlucky

People are way too mean to Oudin here.
So much underserved hate.
Hope she reads TF and uses that as fuel to get some results.

Re: What will Pironkova's result be at Wimbledon 2011?

If she faces Venus in her draw, then she makes it to the finals, apparently having Venus in her draw is lucky for her.
If she faces anyone else.. maybe 1-2r

Re: Woz's Wonderland R1: Krajicek d. Oudin 61 75

Well Oudin didn't have a lot of experience when she got to the QF of UO
and She isn't a fluke. I recall that she was seeded #1 in Juniors at Wimbledon or other majors. You don't get to be the #1...

Re: Average betting odds RG winner

JJ seems like good bang for your buck.
I'm not so sure azarenka should be at the top of the list.

Re: Which players are essential for the WTA?

The biggest draws are not necessarily the best players; but some have more star power than others. The ideal ones would be in order of star power.

Serena Williams
Venus Williams

Re: Who is greater: Wozniacki or Jankovic?

At this snapshot in Time, JJ is greater.
You can't base who is greater on current form, you have to go by previous results, Otherwise Wozniacki would also be greater than Serena, Venus, Henin...

Re: Has Jelena Jankovic passed her peak? Will she ever win a major?

I think it was USOPEN 2008 against Serena Final where I saw JJ as definitely being a contendor for a major.
Serena was playing well and JJ was playiing well, and you could see her play up to the...

Re: Top players clay Schedules

I have to agree with this. JJ is a strange one. The more she plays the better she becomes. I think her best year was the year where she was playing almost every other week!
However, for most other...

LOL @ Damage control From Kim. I'm sure she's getting some backlash for her Neurotic, Psychotic, Irrational Comments.
Well, at least it makes her a more interesting character. She's never exhibited...
