Re: Favorite Wozniacki loss of the 2012 season?

What a hater... Wozniacki will be back to where she belongs in the top 10 next year. Plus this reeks of bitterness as Wozniacki was one of four (scrub) players who beat your Lord this year, and was...

Re: Predict who will win the 2013 head-to-head between Sharapova and Azarenka

She ended Henin's 30+ win streak at the 2008 AO. She also beat Dementieva, Ivanovic and Jankovic in the peak years of their respective careers.

Her draw in RG was fairly easy but she backed it up...

Re: Players playing at their peak and still losing the match

That Vinas-Jankovic QF at the 2007 USO sure made for one hell of a highlights reel but it was a shitfest for the most part. Jankovic was having a blast.

Re: 10 active players have won slams, too many or too few?

She served really well to the AD court during the clay season, especially the kicker out wide. But it's MIA since she won Roland Garros. She'll definitely need to work on it; it's the main reason why...

Re: Predict who will win the Australian Open

I'm Stacey Allaster's grandkid...

It's for fun dude. A possible scenario if the rankings remain unchanged from now until the AO, or at the very least players remain in the same seed...

Re: Predict who will win the Australian Open

The final will be a rematch of last year's final between Sharapova and Azarenka. None of them will have to face Williams, who will have fallen in the QFs to Kerber in the same fashion she fell to...

Re: 10 active players have won slams, too many or too few?

What's Vozas? Maybe I didn't phrase myself correctly, the injury has nothing to do with her loss to Azarenka this year at the AO. Actually, her serve improved immensely during the offseason and...

Re: Handshake FAILS

Dementieva is overrated in so many aspects it's not even funny. Looks, game, classiness... She had none of them. The fact that she was so pressed so many times is funny, as if she was anywhere near...

Re: Gillette Federer Tour: Azarenka def. S. Williams 6-3, 7-5

Re: Will Venus Williams ever win a singles title at a Major again?

No. She's just not good enough anymore. She'll defend Luxembourg next year without dropping a set though.

Re: Predict who will win the 2013 head-to-head between Sharapova and Azarenka

I get the feeling bandabou posts even more about Maria than her own stans :spit: I mean he's covering EVERY single thread about her and then some. His ability to bring Maria into unrelated threads is...

No one in their right mind would say Maria is at Williams' level, but I still find it surprising that...

Re: 10 active players have won slams, too many or too few?

Agreed. The transitional period, to me, was 2008-2011. 2012 was a great year. I expect 2013 to be even better.

Re: 10 active players have won slams, too many or too few?

Regarding the OP, Schiavone should thank Stosur for that slam win until the last day of her career. Stosur should be a 2x slam winner by now. Same goes for Li (should've beaten Clijsters at the AO)....

Re: 10 active players have won slams, too many or too few?

Uhm, for how long have you been following tennis? That's not true at all  Serena is one of the best players of all time, but aside from Sharapova no one from the previous generation of...

Re: Predict who will win the 2013 head-to-head between Sharapova and Azarenka

Sharapova needed to exorcise her Miami demons and she did just that in Istanbul. Future matches won't be nearly as hard for Sharapova to win and she'll need to have a REALLY bad day to lose to...

Re: Predict who will win the 2013 head-to-head between Sharapova and Azarenka

Yeah when was the last time Williams dominated for a whole year anyways? 2002? 2009-2010 doesn't count as she was playing part-time during the bleakest years in WTA history.

I too predict a...

Re: Predict who will win the 2013 head-to-head between Sharapova and Azarenka

Signs were good throughout the entire year though. They're probably DYING to meet each other again and that's great.

Rgarding Williams' dominance, it reminds me a lot of Henin's second half of...

Re: Predict who will win the 2013 head-to-head between Sharapova and Azarenka

People are expecting way too much from Williams. Sure, she'll probably win the fast slams (i.e. USO and Wimbledon), but Azarenka and/or Sharapova will take the other two. Plus regardless of their H2H...

Re: Radwanska's father against vulturing

Thank you Robert :hearts:

The younger one will remain irrelevant. The peak of her career was reaching the final at that weird grass MM.
