Re: Pova's Agent Throwing Shade At Serena AGAIN!

Reading this is so cringe-y. Like, this man is tacky as hell.

And honestly, Maria is pretty good at being classy and tactful in public. Yikes. I'd be embarrassed if I was her for this. Doesn't do...

Re: Why is Muguruza disliked?

Seriously, don't go by the obsessive and deluded fans on TF.

Here, everyone has a hater. Overall, Muguruza seems fairly well liked by everyone. Hasn't really done anything to warrant otherwise,...

Re: Is Doi the unluckiest player at Slams (ever)?

Is having MPs and losing the match considered "unlucky"?

Re: Sloane says her ultimate idol in tennis is Kim Clijsters

Kim is a great champion and an amazing person. One of the best rolemodels tennis has had, so good for Sloane.

Re: Safarova in czech magazine: "Brno (CZE) is just my city"

Do I think it's immoral that she's trying to keep her taxed income as low as possible?

No. Everyone does this. Every one tries to pay as little taxes as they can.

This is also standard...

Re: VIP is getting married, congrats

Ana :tears: going to retire at end of 16/17, I imagine. Sigh.

What language do she and Schweiny communicate in? I'm assuming english, not sure Ana speaks German.

Re: 15-0 in her last 15 finals! Serena Williams lost in her 16th final vs Kerber

Wasn't there a poster who made a thread like "15-0 in FINALS! Serena's never losing a final AGAIN!" :oh:

Re: Compared to the active top is Maria Sharapova great or just very good?

This is so...arbitrary. I think a lot of people are just arguing semantics.

Might be interesting to do "tiers" of players.
Like
Tier I: 5+ Slams
Tier II 2-4 Slams
Tier III: 1 slam OR CHR #1 ...

Re: Would Serena make it through this draw at the French Open?

If the rest of the WTA learned anything from USO, AO: Serena is mortal.

I mean, people already played her like they had nothing to lose but something tells me now the girls will be playing her...

Re: would a fifth slam in China be feasible in February be a good idea?

Erm...it's not a dichotomy. It's about money, sure, but that relates to the long term success and longevity of both tours. Theyre not going to chase some temporary $$ if their brands go to shit in 10...

Re: Radwanska not mentally tough enough to win big titles or a slam.

You know, if Aga ends her career with one Slam final, multiple slam SFs and many QFs, a year end champ, multiple years in the top 5 and top 10...

That's pretty damn good. She should be very happy...

Re: Tarpishchev to Sugarpova: if you don't play Fed cup, don't bother going to Rio'

What if...

This is the last straw for Maria and this causes her (post Olympics) to FINALLY switch nationalities to American? That would be a huge BOMBSHELL/shit show

I could see it...

Re: WWW AO Final: Serena Williams vs. Kerber

If I'm Maria and Kerber wins this, I'd be pissed

Crazier things have happened, but with Vinci @ USO, something tells me Serena won't be upset in that same way again for a while.

Re: would a fifth slam in China be feasible in February be a good idea?

You can't add a Slam without diluting the accomplishments of every top player thus far in the Open Era.

Therefore, in order to add a new Slam, you must remove one of the current four.

Good luck...

Re: Tarpishchev to Sugarpova: if you don't play Fed cup, don't bother going to Rio'

True. This is is so funny to me because Maria is used to running shit and having people do as they say so I'm loving that someone else is putting HER in her place

Oh, lord. Too good. Looking...

Re: Serbian Fed Cup team announced - without Ana and Krunic

Took the words out of my mouth...

But my heart hopes JJ and Jorovic save Srbija :cheer:

Poor Jovanovski gets double bagelled in qualifying these days.

Re: AO QF: Konta d. Zhang (Q) 6-4 6-1

Why has this word randomly become so popular on TF recently? I'm assuming it's from non-native English speakers because it's mostly being used inaccurately...

Too much Hearthstone for you
