Re: Which pro does your game compare most to?

My overall game is lie Jimmy Connors. I hit the ball really flat and my serve is only workable but not great.

Re: Player forum request thread

I vote for a forum in Italy for both Sara Errani and Roberta Vinci and for Christina McHale to have a forum in USA.

Re: Dementieva, Henin... who´s next to retire?

I think it could be Dinara Safina. I picked her because of how badly she's been playing. It is sad that she made the Fed Cup team for Russia when she can't even win a game from Kim Clijsters.

Re: How many slams will Bartoli win?

I have to agree she is a nothing player that won a bunch the lower level tournament when there were tiers for tournaments.

Re: Madison Brengle, born 3 April 1990 in junior USO

She isn't the first American that was 18 playing in the Junior U.S. Open. Bethanie Mattek was playing in it in 2003 a few years after she turned pro.

Re: who would cause upset at R3 Wimbledon 2008?

I think Bethanie Mattek has the best chance for an upset.

Re: Request for a Casey Dellacqua Sub-Forum

Then tell me how Kirsten Flipkens has a folrum when she was never near the top 20 or a bunch of other players who are outside the top 100 deserve a forum but not Casey.

Re: Players that haven't reached their potential?

There are a few lesser known players that have not reached there potential like Kirsten Flipkens, Caroline Maes and Debbrich Feys from Belgium. Kirtsen Flipkens was top 100 and now has fallen to...

Re: Fed Cup Final Teams ???

I think the Italian team should be Schiavone, Garbin, Knapp and Vinci. Knapp has been playing better than Santangelo in the torunaments leading up to and including the US Open.

Re: Creating a Forum for Portuguese Players!!!

I support a Portuguese forum, especially with Neuza moving closer to the top 200 and Michelle rising. Frederica might be on her way back up the rankings. Recently Catarina Ferreira played well at...

Re: Los Angeles Tier II SEEDS-RETURN of Ivanovic,S Williams,Li-Alot Of Amazing Feet

Actually, quality points were dropped after, I believe, the 2004 or 2005 season. I don't know the reason, but I would suspect that it gave the Higher ranked players a bigger spread over the lower...

Re: Alexandra Stevenson: "I'm not a quitter. If I quit, I could never forgive myself"

I agree that know one should tell you when you should quit. But tennis has passed Alexandra Stevenson by years ago. I don't think she has the talent to make the top 100 anymore. There are far...

Re: Is Bartoli headn' for top10?

I agree. There is no way she is on her way to the top 10. She usually only plays in the Tier III and IV events, so her ranking is bloated by good performances at lower levels. She may have had...

Re: Players that will go down in history for one specific achievement.

I think Kim Clijsters will be remembered for wining the 2005 U.S. Open, even though she was a no. 1 player. I don't think that will be remembered 10 - 15 years down the road.

Also, Ashley...

Re: Player Injury List

There is one missing for Flipkens. She hasn't been right mentally since at least the 2006 Fed Cup finals when she failed to beat Santangelo after winning the first set. Even though she played well...

Re: Sexy NOT FAMOUS tennis players???

I think Katie O'Brien of Great Britain, Caroline Maes of Belgium, and Sara Errani and Giulia Gabba of Italy are.

The players I do not care for from my country include Ashley Harkleroad, Vania King, and Ahsha Rolle.
