Re: What is your wish for the 2011 season?

I want to finally see Shahar get to the top 10.
I want Justine to finally return to her form and win RG (and hopefully Wimbledon, but I'm not sure that's realistic)
And I want LenaD to return to...

Re: Roland Garros seeds as they stand today

In the third round the seeds are divided to groups of 8. Seeds 1-8 play seeds 25-32, and seeds 9-16 play seeds 17-24.

Re: A VERY bold prediction for AO: Serena will march to the title.

Re: The day belonged to Azarenka, but this is still the era of Serena

Well, it is worth a second thought.
Vika beating Serena in the final of a tournament Serena is supposed to dominate, and even doing it easily, is a big deal even if Serena was hurt.
Maybe she won't...

Safina can become no. 1 after Charleston

Re: I admire Dinara Safina

She got a cramp in her left thigh in 5-5 or 6-5 in the last set, and had a really hard time serving and moving from there on.

I admire Dinara Safina

Even though I am an israeli, and i rooted for Shahar Peer, I can't ignore the amazing fight Dinara gave in the end, even though she was in a lot of pain and tears. I'm not sure whether she's stronger...

Re: Wimbledon 2R: (24) Shahar Peer def. Emilie Loit 6-3, 6-4

At the beginning of May, in Prague.
Hopefully we'll have more of those from now on. I think her new coach is good for her.

What tennis really needs is a new Slam. Maybe combined with a new surface and/or indoor.
It seems natural that Russia will have a slam as well, considering how many top russian players are there.

Re: Match-ups that still haven't happened yet!

It's amazing that less than a year ago Michelle played against Julia Glushko in RG juniors (I think). Julia even got a set there (but was beaten badly in the next two).
Now Shahar is playing against...
