Re: "ATP is the real tennis, much stronger than women's tennis" Dubai Duty Free

Either womens and mens tennis are the same sport and deserve equal pay or they are different and deserve different pay. Most of the problem Tournament directors have with the WTA is that it is...

Re: Aus Open Final: (7) Angie Kerber SHOCKS (1) Serena Williams 6-4 3-6 6-4

Based on what I saw Serena is good enough for another half a dozen slams easily.

Re: Pushers DO win slams

The difference in Aga and Kerber isn't that Kerber is not a pusher whereas Aga is one but that Aga is a powerless player. If anything Aga is more aggresive than I have seen Kerber. She just doesn't...

Re: Pushers DO win slams

Pushers do win slams. Murray won 2.

If anyone thinks Kerber is not a pusher they need to watch this.

Re: With China's economic turmoil: Is Stacey worrying about her Chinese ambitions?

On the contrary she should be patting herself on the back. See the way she's written contracts. No new WTA tournaments nowadays is being sanctioned without govt guarantees. Basically the tournaments...

Re: How far behind is Maria?

There are 2 ways to beat Serena.
1) Have a good serve (players like Stosur) or
2) Have good movement to make Serena rally (wozniacki style player)

Since her shoulder surgery Maria doesn't...

Re: WWW (Australian Open Final): [1] Serena Williams vs. [2] Maria Sharapova

Since her shoulder surgery she has been Elena Dementieva with better mentality and weak movement. No way is she winning against Serena. She's replaced Elena as my gauge to see how weak the tour is....

Re: Who's the "most consistent" player this year (so far)?

I have voted Serena but Bouchard has a consistent pattern. Does well at Slams and crashes early at other tournaments. She's the improved version of Stephens 2013.

Re: On 'too big and too strong', sexism and female athletes

Nothing. Its not racist or sexist however to point out that some female players depend on their athleticism. Nadal also faces the same "criticism" vis a vis Federer in mens tennis. What I find...

Re: On 'too big and too strong', sexism and female athletes

Even on the men's side there are tons and tons of fans who like Federer and his playing style and think Nadal only wins because of his physical superiority. It's not exclusive to women's tennis.
In...

Re: When the US Open final is Peng vs Krunic...

serena is winning this tournament. the only difference between 2013 and 2014 has been that serena has lost unexpectedly at slams else the rest of the tour is playing at the crap 2013 level.

Re: Most Unpredictable US Open In Years?

Serena is the favorite. Till the time she loses no need to speculate about any other favorite.

Even Serena at 50% faces no problems from these basic bitches.

Re: Czech politician: Petra Kvitová should lose citizenship for relocating to Monaco

Re: Czech politician: Petra Kvitová should lose citizenship for relocating to Monaco
