Re: Most boring GS post-match interviews ever, especially from Schiavone

:tape:

Fran's interview was fine. Her English isn't the greatest but I didn't have trouble understanding her. Also what she lacks in language department, she makes it up with her charming and...

Re: Who do you want Sugiyama to pair up with next?

I would have preferred with Vladka och continue with Kata. Good luck Ai and Dani.

Re: Bye Bye Tati..

I agree with you. She is/was a solid player who could hack around 7-10 but to win a slam...nah. Nevertheless it is very  that she might have to retire from her tennis career at such an early age.

Re: Pierce withdraws from Olympics

 She didn't ruin Amélie's chances to go. If Amélie really wanted to go she could have waited until Mary makes her decision.
I think Amélie simply got pissed off because she found out...

Re: Olympics Entry List!

I completely agree with you. Peschke and Ulihrova should have been selected for the dubs.

Re: Doubles teams for the Olympics - who are the teams?

Me too. I was like; isn't she one of the most consistent doubles players France has? So I really hope this time she'll be selected to replace and I hope of course that she accepts it.

Re: Doubles teams for the Olympics - who are the teams?

I hope Amélie will be replaced by Nathalie Dechy. She has had a good run so far at Wimbly both in women's and mixed dubs.

Re: Doubles teams for the Olympics - who are the teams?

Partly it could be that but also that her current form and injury issues play a part too. Then again in dubs one doesn't have to be as 100% as in the singles in order to succeed if you have a good...

Re: Doubles teams for the Olympics - who are the teams?

Amélie has decided to withdrawn from the Olympics so I wonder who will take her place in the dubs now?

Re: Doubles teams for the Olympics - who are the teams?

Didn't Stubbs and Molik play dubs at Fed Cup few years ago? Also they're good friends so I'd assume dubs teams Molik/Stubbs and Dellacqua/Stosur.

Re: Doubles teams for the Olympics - information

40 years? Zimbabwe has only been a country for 28 years. I guess you meant their family has been representing Rhodesia/Zimbabwe over 40 years.:p

Re: Mixed R2: J.Murray/Huber def. Dima/Nadia 6-2, 2-6, 9-7

I would have preferred Nadia/Dima to win. Oh well congrats Liezel and Jamie.

Re: Wimbledon 3R: (6) Serena Williams d (29) Amelie Mauresmo 76(5) 61

Congrats Serena!! :yeah:
The first set was exciting to watch but it seemed that both players didn't play relaxed. However it was nice to see Amélie play some decent tennis in it and hopefully this...

Re: I miss Henin

I second to this. I miss the game of Henin. I'm happy that Amélie is still around, hopefully she'll start getting some really good results again.
