Re: I met Monica Puig at Chipotle today

When i first read this post, i was rolling over laughing. But after i saw the video of the dude hitting balls, it wasn't so funny any more. Because if this guy goes to Turkey F22, there aren't going...

Re: 25K Bangkok R2: #256 (8)Jing-Jing Lu def. (SE)Patty Schnyder 66(0-0) ret.

Very impressive wins against Sharipova and especially #185 Kromacheva... I figured Patty had Kromacheva in the bag because she usually owns other left-handers, and Kromacheva has the speed but not...

Re: USO 2R: Kasatkina def. Konjuh 64 64

I can say honestly that there is nobody who reminds me of Schnyder.

Re: US Open is playing fast?

it sure looks fast on the outside courts. The slices are skidding and hardly coming up at all, both men and women are making tons of groundstroke errors after a slice is thrown into the rally and it...

Re: USO 1R: Danka Kovinic def. AK-47 Krunic (R16 2014) 4-6 7-5 6-1

probably the best match i saw yesterday. Krunic wanted it really bad with her whole ranking on the line, and her unorthodox style is pretty fun to watch. Tiny, but fast as lightning and a phenomenal...

Re: USO 2R: Kasatkina def. Konjuh 64 64

great job by Kasatkina to back up the solid win over Gavrilova. Her game is a little bit vanilla with some moonballing and you could mistake her for a junior, but she's getting it done. 3R GS is...

Re: USO R1 Cetkovska is back def. McHale 4-6 6-4 6-3

was some pretty nice bashing from Cetkovska in the 3rd set. She was very good mentally, McHale certainly had her moments and had clear crowd support, but Cetkovska never got unruffled at all by the...

Re: Wow had no clue about Pegula

when Dad is worth 5 billion and owns an NFL team, you know they could have pulled some strings with the USTA and gotten Pegula a maindraw WC... but she played through the qualifying and earned her...

Re: USO 1R: Strýcová def. (14) Bacsinszky 7-5, 6-0

yeah, i saw it as well. Timea was not that bad, just outmatched. Strycova was on fire from 4-5 and could do no wrong. Babsi is not somebody who you want to draw in the 1st round of a GS if you are...

Re: USO R1: Knapp def. Tomljanovic 6-7(1) 6-2 6-4

This was a very entertaining match to watch up close on a back court. Knapp played extremely well throughout, very heavy & deep hitting and deceptively fast for such a large girl. Ajla's game seems...

Re: USO R1: Bouchard def. Riske 64 63

Not sure why people are giving Riske such a hard time. Bouchard is still Top 30, and she played like it yesterday. Riske hasn't had any bad loss since the clay season or even earlier, just she has...

Re: Serena is the Engine That Keeps Tennis in the Spotlight

The title of this thread is pure speculation, arrogantly presented as fact. What the thread starter and some other posters are really saying is that Serena Williams is bigger than the game of tennis...

Re: Got any spare change? Go and fund this player to get her jaw broken

"Kiick" is the last name of a famous football player for the Miami Dolphins, is this his kid/grandkid by any chance?

Re: I Would Like to Congratulate Maria Sharapova

I remember sitting in a bar in January 2005, watching Sharpy's 2 match points against Williams in the semifinal. It was already a shock that she ended up losing that match... but to think that to...

Re: Patty Schnyder comeback?

If Patty comes back with full motivation, i have no doubt that she'll be Top 100 again at the very least... lots of people will be glad to see her back, the last few years in the WTA have been rather...

Re: New Sexy Lexy Article : Alexandra Stevenson on tennis comeback trail at 34

Stevenson is only 9 months older than Serena who is about to win the fricking Grand Slam... she still has an attractive game and who knows, maybe she'll get the last laugh. Look at Lucic, also about...

Re: Serena not winning the ESPY award for Best Female Athlete : bombshell or not?

your comment is race-baiting and a completely unjustified accusation. It's unfortunate that these types of insults are allowed here.

Re: Serena not winning the ESPY award for Best Female Athlete : bombshell or not?

Personally i haven't enjoyed this Mouratoglou Slam. I just don't like how she is playing. While it's true that i rarely rooted for Serena back during the original Serena Slam, i enjoyed watching her...
