Re: Ekaterina Bychkova farewell interview

Dead at her outing Larsson and CSN. :spit: She says that CSN travels and lives with a girl who's also a tennis player.

Re: Daniela Seguel's father dies as he watches her daughter's match

She just played her first match after this awful incident, beat Pella in straight sets. :awww: This is a very good win considering the circumstances and hopefully it means she can continue to rise up...

Re: $100K Midland QF: Julia Boserup (8) def. AK Schmiedlova 2-6 6-2 7-5

That second serve on MP, after all the fighting. The girl is braindead. This fast surface is perfect for her current game, I don't expect her to play at this level when she's back on cla.

Re: Australian Open R3 DRAMA: (5) Pliskova def. Ostapenko 4-6 6-0 10-8

 The robot didn't miss a single first serve in the last few service games. So boring to watch.

Re: Former Top 100 players which careers fell apart suddenly?

Nadiia Kichenok should be mentioned here. Made the top 100 and now she's basically a doubles specialist at 24.

Re: AO QR2: Lina Gjorcheska and her very loud and drunk fanclub def. Dalma Galfi 6-1

One of the reasons why I love Voegele is because she's indeed a total nutjob but she hides it well most of the time.

Re: Australian Open 2017 Qualifying Discussion Thread

I'm enjoying the contrast of styles in the Brady-Kamenskaya match. Curious to see if this gameplan will work till the end for Viktoria.

Brescia isn't a lefty.

I'm pretty sure there isn't anyone like Han.

Marion Bartoli
Shuai Peng
Hsieh Su-Wei
Noppawan Lertcheewakarn
Irena Pavlovic
Lucie Hradecka

Re: Australian Open 2017 Qualifying Discussion Thread

She can hit a flat first serve which is less attackable though I'm pretty sure her tactic today is to have a very high first serve percentage to not give Brady too many second serves to put away.

Re: Australian Open 2017 Qualifying Discussion Thread

She really should be forced to wait till the end of the game or concede it.

I just love Kamenskaya's crazy grunt.

Re: Australian Open 2017 Qualifying Discussion Thread

Exactly! I tend to not like players like her who play without any tactics.

WTF is this random medical timeout after the bad call? :tape:

Re: Australian Open 2017 Qualifying Discussion Thread

For some reason her weird game annoys me a lot. Her game is so amateurish compared to Lapko who looks like a top player.

Re: Australian Open 2017 Qualifying Discussion Thread

Lapko wasted 2 MPs and broken. She really should have won it on the first MP.

Re: Australian Open 2017 Qualifying Discussion Thread

Is it wrong that I really enjoy watching Majeric bring down her opponent's level every single time? :hysteric: They start by crushing her and by the end they turn into a trainwreck.

Re: Australian Open 2017 Qualifying Discussion Thread

Incredible comeback from Jabeur in the second set. :bolt: Hit a fluke return winner at 2-4 15-40 and suddenly woke up and somehow finally won the set after failing to serve it out twice and wasting 2...

Australian Open 2017 Qualifying Discussion Thread

Figure there should be a thread like this since all matches are streamed.

I'm mainly watching Jabeur - Jakupovic, where Ons has come back from a set and 1-4 and 2-4 15-40 down to break to...

Re: Australian Open 2017 Qualifying - Predictions and Wishes

It's a miracle that she's even in the draw. She only got in last minute thanks to players going deep in Hobart and alternates above her withdrawing.

Re: ITF 25k Daytona Beach R1: Ulrikke Eikeri def. AK Schmiedlova 6-0 7-5

She should have stepped down to this level a long time ago, back when she was on that 15 match losing streak, until she'd get some wins under her belt and a little confidence. It might be too late...
