Re: WWW.Roland Garros SF: Serena Williams v. Kiki Bertens

Well, today Serena was in trouble, but she played miserably and Putintseva was tracking down balls really well. I think it would take a really bad Serena day for Kiki to win.

In the end, it will...

Re: RG QF: Serena def. Putintseva 57 64 61

That on-court interview with Bartoli was soooooo awkward.
Cake is the worst interviewer I have ever seen, her personality REALLY doesn't fit :oh:

Re: WWW RG QF Kiki Bertens vs (8) Timea Bacsinszky

Timea for sure.

She just needs to do what Mug did with Rogers - hang in there and exploit a hole in her game.

Re: WWW RG SF: [4] Muguruza vs. [21] Stosur

I can agree with Sam having an edge game-wise, she has been tested more and is hitting steadier than Mug, but temperament-wise Mug is more of a fighter, she can definitely explore holes in Sam's...

Re: WWW 2016 Miami F: Victoria Azarenka vs. Svetlana Kuznetsova

Saddest thing about this is that the Final for Wooden Spoon Award is between Bencic and Safarova :oh:

Re: Players you were wrong about

Players I was wrong about:

-I was expecting Kvitova to dominate 2012.
-In December I thought Venus would never win a title again nor be at the last 16 of a Slam.
-I thought Radwanska would have...

Re: AO 2014 BEGINS: Victoria, Maria, Na. Everyone else. Now the stakes are on!

Well, whomever emerges from the top draw will be really refreshing.
I really think any of those girls deserves to be in the final, I was so entertained with today's matches, never thought I'dd get...

Re: AO R4: Ekaterina Makarova def. Angelique Kerber 7-5 6-4

Well Makarova played really well, so I think it's unfair to say that it is all Kirby's fault... Ekaterina deserves every credit, serve and forehand were pretty good.

Good luck against pova :)

Re: Li's New Year's resolution: "I want to be top 3 or win a Grand Slam"

At least she's not aiming for number one, like some other people :oh:
I think it's great, it's both ambitious and modest, she blatantly says she can't be the best.

Re: WWW: Sydney QF: (3) Na Li vs. Madison Keys

Yes, but she hadn't won a tournament a week before, this case in Shenzhen...
Even the fittest players (I remember this happened to Wozniacki when she was fit two seasons ago) crack when they win or...

Re: Ana Ivanovic: "I'll be looking for revenge." -on playing Serena next.

Well at Roland Garros she said she could win and went out in the 3rd Round.
So now that she reached the quarterfinals, the next logical step is to say that she can actually beat Serena :oh:

Re: USO R4: [20] Roberta Vinci def. [2] Agnieszka Radwanska 61 64

WHOA! GOOD JOB ROBBIE!
Lol and with that horrible first serve percentage too.

But to be fair, I think maybe Radwanska's shoulder was bothering her a bit, no? Apart from the usual bandaged...

Petkovic's reaction on Angie/Sara match

She tweeted

Re: Active players that have reached QF at all 4 slams

Nice stats! :)
I think carebear is the next one to jump to the first category, and I bet that is even going to happen next February :)

Re: Kerber is a favourite to win US Open 2012

OMG why does every time someone beats a Williams sister that girl is suddenly the favourite? :oh: Did she win Cincy after she beat Serena?
I was actually surprised I didn't see a "Razzano is going...

Re: US Open Titanic 2R: (6) Kerber survives Venus "60 UEs" Williams 6-2 5-7 7-5

I'm pretty serene with this horrifying show, Kerber totally deserved it, I was actually pretty impressed with her attitude, it's a pretty good evolution from what we saw at the Cincy Final :oh:
My...
