Re: Wimbledon has a lot of long matches this year. What's happened?

It's more like chokers, and the typical "No, you win it" , "No, you win it" dialogues between players.

Re: Wimbledon R2: Alize 'vamos' Cornet def. Sara 'whyyousayvamos' Errani 7-6(4) 7-5

This is what Alize's has been preparing and training for. This exact moment where she beat Sara Errani.

Her wins over Serena Williams pale in comparison to this. Her biggest achievement ever,...

Re: Wimbledon R1 SHITBUSTER: Safarova def. Mattek-Sands 6-7(7) 7-6(3) 7-5

Re: WWW Wimby R1 Gasparyan vs Allertova

She did have 2 MPs at least. It was that one and the Fed Cup week, specially her loss to Sasnovich. :(

But it's understandable that she is going through a negative spiral, because she was going...

Re: Wimbledon Q3: Alexandrova d. (wc)Dart 2-6 7-5 13-11, first GS MD

But really who would be expecting Harriet Dart almost qualifying for Wimbledon on her own :p Her results are very mediocre and her recent form was very suspect. Her making it this far was a huge...

Re: Wimbledon QFR: (5) Sakkari d. (22) Zanevska 6-7(5) 7-6(3) 6-2 save MP

Well, like it or not, Sakkari is here to stay, that should be obvious by now

She has the game and apparently can play in any surface, and of course her fighting spirit.

And it's enough with the...

Re: Eastbourne R1: Babos v Giorgi 64 76(3)

I marginally agree, I have watched many Babos matches this year and today was for sure her worst, very far of her match against Kerber in Miami for example. On even some of her not so good yet a lot...

Re: Eastbourne R1: Babos v Giorgi 64 76(3)

This was SO bad.

Babos was downright awful, one of her worst performances this year, but somehow Giorgi managed to be even worst

Re: Mallorca Open R1: Kristen Flipkens def. RG Champion Garbine Muguruza, 6-3, 6-4

Because they are completely different persons/players before and after winning the slam. A lot changed in their lives...

That added to the fact there is 0 motivation to win a MM R1 after you just...

Re: Live Commentary Thread vol 100

Of course, she stopped play. That volley was only self-defense

The umpire is dumb, but Lisicki/Bouchard should have said something there...

Re: Natalia Vikhlyantseva! Who is this girl?

Vikhlyantseva is definitely talented, a BBB by nature. But for now she's kinda of a poor mans Kulichkova.

The last i saw her was in St.Petersburg against Niculescu and as you can imagine by the...

Re: Are we in for a Muguruza-Keys final?

Considering the current conditions of slow play, a heavy big hitter like Keys might have advantage IMO. And she might not be a clay court powerhouse but let's not forget she reach Rome final playing...

Are we in for a Muguruza-Keys final?

Seems like a more and more decent possibility, apart from Muguruza-Serena final, this is the 2nd most probable final at this stage IMO.

And how good you think it would be for the sport if we had...
