Re: Prague R1 Tsvetana Pironkova def (Q) Olga Govortsova 7-5 6-1

Tsvetana is not bad on clay. She's either good or bad regardless the surface.

Re: Hardest-Hitting Matches of All Time

And it's utterly unimportant to EVERYONE what YOU think, ok? Stop destroying the thread where people would like to calmly enjoy the topic.

Re: Hardest-Hitting Matches of All Time

MrTrick, can you stop it please? It's obvious thejuju didn't use the term in order to offend Venus. It's extremely offensive though to explain to someone what he thinks like you know better what's...

Re: Players who forgot how to play

Someone mentioned Dokic or Rezai already? Some of the players (like them) rely too much on confidence-based game and once they loose it, the whole game falls apart.

Re: Players who forgot how to play

And she never tested positive during that time, and she was tested multiple times, even during her junior RG win.

You are talking about the forehand but her backhand was the real top shot, it was...

Re: Who told Bouchard that skinny is better for tennis?

She gained weight not muscle- it's visible from the pictures. Actually, what she did this year is to loose all fat on her body. The muscle mass is visibly the same. Whether it's good or bad we will...

Re: PATRICK MOURATOGLOU creates EUROPE'S LARGEST tennis Accademy

The more academies in Europe- the better.

Using Grigor's name as some proof of Muratoglou's coaching talent is quite wrong though. Grigor went to Mouratoglou's academy having already all the shots...

Re: Serena Momentum Closing In On Graf: Case AGAINST GRAF ... And FOR WILLIAMS

Wait, too many or just one? Actually, it doesn't matter as the explanation "Others do it too" shouldn't be used. I don't use it for anything at least.

Re: Serena Momentum Closing In On Graf: Case AGAINST GRAF ... And FOR WILLIAMS

No, you don't ask them to agree with your speculation and I didn't imply this.

I will explain my post with different words then:

By calling your analysis fair-minded and by giving as point of...

Re: Serena Momentum Closing In On Graf: Case AGAINST GRAF ... And FOR WILLIAMS

How do you link logically this itself, to the discussion, and to any point that I could eventually make?

I know enough Germans who are not nation-biased in tennis or any other sport and...

Re: Serena Momentum Closing In On Graf: Case AGAINST GRAF ... And FOR WILLIAMS

That is the problem, fair-minded people can also look at the data and still not think about how many slams Seles could have won as she didn't, and no one can say what could have been.

Re: Serena Momentum Closing In On Graf: Case AGAINST GRAF ... And FOR WILLIAMS

I didn't need to look before knowing the source is American ;)

In general, I am against such comparisons but I also notice many people are nation-biased and here I think it is the same. The...

Re: The 2015 Off Court Photos Thread (Photo Shoots/Parties/Sponsor Events etc.) Vol.

Please, don't kill the messenger but you know that in the East there was/is a saying "Dressed like a Russian"? :oh: The style oozing form the pic is I guess the reason. ;)

Their cuteness is saving...

Re: Wta should consider getting a guide book for these Romanian fans in tennis matche

And how you explain the noise between serves and during points, the cheers on double faults and unforced errors during the Sampras-Agassi US Open final? They were all American citizens, crowd AND...

Re: Wich player is the best defensively ever?

Ever is very long indeed, so I will focus on the past 10-15 years.

I would say Hingis and Henin with slight advantage to Henin due to strength and speed. Defense is not only returning balls guys...

Re: Players shouldn't be allowed to ask the umpire "Are you sure?" or "How close was

One of the many responsibilities of the umpires is to call the lines. I see no problem a player asking for confirmation or clarification. On clay it's even more evident as the umpires go to show the...

Re: Miami R1 Sasil Karatantcheva (Q) def. Lauren Davis 63 76(5)

Don't hope too much, if she didn't do anything for 10 years, why would she do it now? ;) Of course, confidence helps and she could eventually return to her former game of play but.. no ;)

Re: Any other players like Cetkovska...

Yes indeed! "Old school" :) in the meaning that she has great control, can do quasi every shot in the book, can take the ball on the rise- I completely agree it is old school ;)
