(wc)Michaella Krajicek (NED) v Silvia Soler-Espinosa (ESP)

Yeah, I really have no clue how this match will work out. At her level back at the beginning of 2012, I would have said she would win this match in straights, but I don't think she is there yet. It might as well be a whitewash for Soler-Espinosa too so I just hope the surface can help Misa to win.

An interview with her (in Dutch) on page 2: http://www.topshelfopen.nl/images/da...naalZondag.pdf

Such an important win for her and getting that win in Rosmalen as well in front of her home crowd :cheer: I'm so happy for her :tears: :D

And 30 ranking points are so very welcome at this point being out for so lang and having to try and build her ranking again :)

Re: Grass 2013: s'Hertogenbosch (Rosmalen) & Wimbledon

Misa said that after Wimbledon she is probably playing an ITF in China and she is playing WTA Baku for sure. Very smart choice, that tournament always has a very weak field and this way Misa can get into the Main draw with her protected ranking. And all wins there count just as much as in Rosmalen but with weaker players :)

She really played a good match. It was just tough for her to keep playing on the same level. But she was really showing some good things.

I missed the match, anyone record it? How was her FH and BH? Her serve always good, I dun worry about it

Against Flipkens in R2. A top20 players, good test but nothing to lose.
GL Misa :hearts:
I hope she plays tomorrow at 11.00 CET, when it's not that hot.. Temperatures are expected to rise to 35C

Yeah, I remember the fainting 10 years ago... Don't want to see that happening again

If she plays later, she really needs to stay hydrated. Does the heat rule come into place with such temperatures? (10 minute break between sets?)

Protected ranking.

Shitty draw  Though she might just surprise Na Li, who lost to Vesnina in Eastbourne where apparently she did not play very well and obviously Misa doesn't have anything to lose  Zet 'm op!
