the thread someone made about there being no injuries or retirements @ this AO :facepalm: yes there was no match that ended this way but cannot ignore injuries to the four most in-form players in the tournament

1) Jamie's back injury in the 3R

2) Serena's ankle injury in the 1R and back injury in the QF

3) Vika's rib injury in the SF

4) Na's ankle injuries and concussion in the F

who would have won the tournament if these injuries did not happen :confused:

Doesn't matter, injuries are part of the game and just another factor. You could ask a million questions like this Coulda, woulda, shoulda, Azarenka won it fair and square by beating all of her opponents.
