Serena vultured her way to 2 in 2010 without facing one.

It's not her fault when all the other seeds are that bad/injured

In Wimbledon, she beat your precious Maria. Stay an insufferable twat, bitch. |

Last year she had to knock out Clijsters, Radwanska, and Sharpaova. This year, she had an easier road.
That's how the cookie crumbles. Some years the road is tougher. Not her fault. Plus, for all the times she's had to play Serena painfully early in slams... she deserved a bit of a break. |

Serena at 2010 Wimbledon was the most recent I could remember. But her form was so amazing that she would have pummelled anyone in her way, Top 5 or non Top 5 anyway. :D
Doesnt matter who Vika beat, she still earned the slam rightfully. Easy draws happen here and there, one can never control which opponents they face. |

I really hate when people bring up these threads, let me explain why i) seedings do not determine the quality of a player it ranges day to day (Hampton before the ugly back injury and Kuznetsova in the first set of the QF) ii) it is not her fault that things have occured, it is not LUCK it is occurrence, it is not her fault that seeded players are unable to win or injure themselves, these things OCCUR.
As posters have said above, Serena did well to win AO with players like Henin and Azarenka but they weren't top five? Rankings mean nothing. |

GOOd, now people won't talk about Maria that much.
