Perhaps feeling left out and lost in the wrong part of the Americas, Anna comes through qualifying (ahem) to reach her second pro QF. (Quito 10K.)

This trip to South America is proving profitable for Anna. Semifinal last week, through to the second round as a qualifier this week, where she will face another qualifier.

She won her R2 4 & 4 earlier today and faces Piai in the QF.

Re: Anna Brogan

Gordon Brown is relieved to hear that Anna didn't apply for a postal vote.

Her reward for a SF and QF in Ecuador is not a world ranking--she still needs another result--but back in the juniors an R1 match versus world no. 6 Shymanovich at the G2 in Canada.
