Katerina Stewart
Only playing her 2nd pro tournament ever she beat El Tabakh :cheer:
One of the best juniors in her age and very talented. She has got a lot of potential, I could be out on limb, but more potential than Black or Shiskina :D |
Re: Katerina Stewart
Thanks for making Katerina her own thread in Team USA :D I have to admit that i don't follow JR's closely, so she's a very new name for me . I look forward to learning more about her game, background and personality. Thanks for posting the clip :bounce:

Re: Katerina Stewart
Definitely a name to watch out for. I expect she'll make a big splash in juniors soon.

Re: Katerina Stewart
Katerina has been in Turkey the last four weeks playing in a series of 10Ks. She didn't make it out of qualifying the first two weeks but last week she qualified in singles (but lost in the first round) and then went on to win the doubles title. :)
She is doing better this week in her final tournament. R1: Katerina Stewart (USA) d. Elisabeth Fournier (CAN) 62 64 R2: Katerina Stewart (USA) d. (wc)Justine De Sutter (BEL) 64 64 She lost rather handily to De Sutter a few weeks ago so that is nice revenge. She'll take on #3 seed Isabella Shinikova in the quarters. |

Keep going :cheer:
