Awful, just so so basic. I'm not even hating here, everyone knows I low-key use Rihanna. This is just so basic, nothing going on. Such basic lyrics, such a basic concept. There seems to be no pretence anymore that her album has a 'purpose' or a story to tell or even quite basically a 'point'. What's the point of diamonds? Her last era seemed so so short!

It's not awful and will be a grower no doubt, but yeah I miss peak 2009-2010 Rihanna.
