A arubber that the chinese should completely dominate is turning into a worrying point as Li Na, Shuai Peng and probably Zheng Jie all are not playing. With the Argentinean team lacking Dulko and Suarez, what was potentially a high quality tie will now be a huge scrap. Unless the chinese can bring forth some decent player, the Argentineans might luck their way into the World Group Two.

As far as I know, Gisela Dulko told her in December that she wasn't going to play Fed Cup in the entire 2012 and so she did what Dulko said, didn't take her into account. As regards of Paola, she says that doubles is not so important to win the tie so she wanted to pick a younger player instead of her.
