Serena is just that little more erratic since the US Open, so I think a solid and agressive Kim could do the trick

This same situation happened to Lindsay Davenport at the 2001 Pilot Pen tournament when she was supposed to play Kim and Kim withdrew with a thigh injury. Venus had to play two matches the day before the final because of rain. That meant Lindsay was rested (having not played since that Wednedsay) and was favored to win.

End result?:

Venus won in two sets. That is why Serena has a better chance at winning because she is more match ready that Kim, like Venus was against Lindsay.

I picked Kim in 3, but i know its wishful thinking.

I'd have to go with Serena, Although Serena needs to watch out for Kims serve and work on her own first serve. I hope its an exicting match!

I agree that Serena's still shaking off the rust; but she still managed to gut it out against Cappy. Hard to say what Kim can do at the moment, given she's not been tested at all this tourney. She's had a good indoor season, tho'

I'm giving a slight edge to Kim (in three) but more than anything, I hope to see another really good match. :)

I do hope both players have a good time and if we get a good match out of it then lucky us.

I also hope the fans will treat each other well.
